    Sure it is, it's part of the reason Boston has been as bad as the Cubs so far w/higher expectations (of course, Boston won't put Beckett in the pen). I guess we might be talking about different things. Obviously, you can call it feast or famine based on what's happened, I was talking going forward. I don't think you can glean anything from 16 games when it comes to deviation of an offense.

    Is 16 games really enough to call an offense feast or famine? Boston's scored 3 or less runs in half their games too.

    Super 2 isn't a set date, it's the top 1/6 of 2 year players service time wise. It seems to be getting later and later.

    Becuase he doesn't do it all the time. You always select one minute thing that you can dispute that doesn't have anything to do with the overall argument. You know what is meant when people call something an individual stat and it is a rather common thing so why make that post? There is really only one reason and I've already explained it. It has nothing to do with the overall argument?????? You're arguing that Orton can't be an above average QB because he had a (slightly) above average QB rating last year. IT HAS EVERYTHING TO DO WITH THE ARGUMENT. If the stat is flawed at measuring the individual's ability then you shouldn't use it to rate him individually.

    I think Mario Chalmers's dad was the real coaching mastermind behind that "national title" team. Never should've let him go, though I guess you can't keep a coaching stud like that on payroll for too long. Where is he now, coaching some high major team I'm sure?
