What they said was that you can make a killing without being Michael Jordan in New York. In Chicago you have to be Michael Jordan in order to have a chance to match New York's earning potential. I'd say you have to be better than Michael Jordan in order to match that earning potential. Jordan's already been done, you have to one-up him. ETA: I think it's a flawed argument, he'll make his money whether he's in NYC, Chicago, Cleveland, Jersey, or Miami. Arguing that point from the side of being an icon makes a lot more sense.
