I'd trade Soto for him There are better ways to get marginally better than trading Soto for Upton. 22 year olds with Upton's talent level don't come along very often. Good thing catchers like Soto do.
I don't see any way that the Big Ten would agree to hold its game at such a small gimmicky football field, unless it was a one time thing at the outset to drum up even more interest. But even that wouldn't make a lot of sense for them. The bowl could make sense if they figure out a better way to fit 120 yards on to the field, but yeah, you don't hold the Big Ten championship in front of 40,000 fans. (And you can bet they have no desire to hold it in inclement weather)
7pm on ABC And from what I've heard, Herbie & Mushmouth will be calling our game. I think it's being pre-empted in Chicago for some old episodes of It's Like...You Know
More than Nebraska/Texas A&M? absoeffinglutely Ha ha. No one in the south gives a [expletive] about Iowa-Ohio State. Hell, no one seems to care anything about the Big Ten in the south. Man, that's a relief, because I don't give a [expletive] about anyone in the south either Vance is crying.
Pomeroy has the challenge as a near statistical dead-heat coming into tonight. ACC slightly favored in the aggregate, Big Ten favored in 6 of 11 matchups individually. This Wake game will swing it to the Big Ten's favor
I wonder if the Big Ten would ever consider upping the visibility of its baseball tournament now that an actual program in Nebraska will be coming into the league.
Is that not because they are by far the smallest school, and therefore have the smallest group of alumni by default? Yeah, I'd imagine as a percentage of alums nationwide, they'd at least be ahead of Ohio State and Minnesota, along with maybe the Michigan schools and Indiana schools.
That was incredible. Too bad Joe Buck didn't call it: "To the end zone...tipped...caught...touchdown. Jags win it." Love how he sounded so disappointed that it was knocked down. That and his trademark cackle.
