  1. This is exactly what I have been calling for. And everyone else who's ever talked about it. MAKE THE BOWL GAMES THE SITES OF THE TOURNEY is college football's, "Just legalize it and tax the hell out of it!!"
  2. Which in turn pushes him to the bullpen for the rest of his career because "he doesn't have the stamina to be a starter." And why the [expletive] is he not pitching somewhere right now?
  3. [expletive] it, I hope Z gets traded just to see who we get to blame next.
  4. I hope Steve Stone gets hit by a car
  5. You are starting to believe.
  6. Sorry, I've never done a PPR league, so I can't really help
  7. Cue lame jokes about Texas A&M being a Division II school in Abilene. Will Gameday be at this Tournament of Cotton Championship?
  8. Big Ben
  9. I dunno I guess I'd just prefer a defensive oriented guard at the 2 with the starting lineup we have. We already have supposedly below average defenders in Rose and Boozer in the lineup, and as awesome as Noah is he struggles in certain situations against bigger matchups. Adding a 3rd bad defender could really cause the starting lineup to struggle. I mean I guess he would be ok. He only shot 33% from 3 last year though, and 6 attempts per game. Is that even beneficial? I am asking seriously because I didn't think 33% was all that good. We're 4th in defensive rating and 19th in offensive rating. Even with Korver, Rose, and Deng all hitting 3s, we could use some more shooting. I don't think giving Bogans and Brewer's minutes to JR Smith is going to cause our D to plummet but the shooting immediately improves. Bogans is a decent defender (not great by any means), has terrible foot speed so he doesn't help in an up tempo game, and can't do anything offensively. So maybe you get him to guard pretty well but the other guy has to expend absolutely no energy at all in defending him. You're 19th in offensive rating with little impact from your 2nd best offensive player. I think Brewer alone is worth more to the Bulls than Smith. (Not like adding Bogans to the trade does anything one way or another, the guy's damn near worthless.) Brewer was recovering from injury to begin the year, and has improved with health. Do you really want Rose chasing one of the opponent's better guards all around the court and then coming back and running the show on offense? Kid's gonna be dead by the playoffs.
  10. it seems like we have the worst reverse home court advantage ever. i dont know if the reffs do it to make a point or something but we get the least amount of calls at home than any team i've ever seen. Your home/road records are a similar split to the rest of the NBA
  11. I like those too. I don't get the outcry with the Oregon jerseys. I think they're pretty awesome. My only issue is that they replaced the choice steel grating shoulders with angel wings
  12. And his "turnaround" was a bunch of close wins against equally shitty MAC teams coupled with blowout losses against any good teams they played (35-3 to Cincy???)
  13. Brees vs BAL or Brady vs. GB (Before you ask I traded Matt Ryan and Hillis for Brees and Witten, and couldn't find any takers for Brady following that) Pick 3: Floyd vs SF Colston @ BAL Branch vs. GB Blount vs. DET Bowe @ STL Forte @ MIN That's roughly the order I have them ranked right now. Top 2 seem like must starts at this point. Am I getting too cute if I bench Colston cause of the Ravens?
  14. Orton Johnson Moore Winslow Mccoy Jackson Bradshaw I like McNabb in both instances (vs Garrard and certainly vs Collins) Keep Forte
  15. Come on Brett please end another tenure with a team by throwing a game ending INT. Do it for me Brett.
  16. Stay away from Titans offensive players. We've failed to score a touchdown for two straight games now and we really haven't come close. Houston's secondary is baaaad. Kerry Collins is 45 years old and back off the wagon
  17. Why do I feel like Scotty Hopson has gotten worse every year under Horshack
  18. They've been a 3, 2, and 3 seed under Van Gundy and gone to the Eastern semis, NBA Finals, and Eastern Conference Finals. That's not underperforming.
  19. From that cbssports blog. (And far more interesting than this conversation) http://www.cbssports.com/mcc/blogs/entry/22748484/26449752
  20. How high up does this cover-up go??
  21. You're going to have to explain to me how # of shot attempts affects % of FTs attempted. I don't doubt that Rondo takes a higher % of unguarded shots than Rose (though you're certainly overstating it), but it's also likely that he dishes more while heavily guarded. Of course, there'd have to be a bonus for him to shoot in these situations, but it's not insignificant.
  22. And nobody has given me a satisfactory answer as to why Rose is being discriminated against by referees. "There oughta be an investigation" is not an acceptable answer Stacey
  23. Probably getting robbed of free throws on those too! On a serious note, 21% of Rose's shots are 3s, whereas 7.7% of Rondo's are. And still, more FTs for Rose.
  24. Probably getting robbed of free throws on those too!
