    I assumed Philly hadn't played Atlanta. Still doesn't make much sense to me. Chicago beat Philly who beat Atlanta. 1-2-3. I know the transitive property is junk in sports, but these are NFL tiebreakers, and they're all junk

    Because the only reason to not use record against those which you're tied is to not punish the Falcons with a 2 seed when they didn't show it on the field. Well, the NFL's tiebreaker puts them at 3rd anyway, and gives the team who is 0-1 against the teams they're tied with the 1 seed.

    So now a man who has had one season of a ERA+ of over 130, three years ago and has a WHIP consistently in the 1.3's is a ace of the caliber of cliff lee? LOL 14 mill for the rich man's Jason Marquis. But he's since he's considered funny it doesn't matter. Dempster hasn't had a WAR under 3.5 since 2007. That type of consistency probably makes him one of the 20-30 best SP in baseball. But he struggles with walking people sometimes so it doesn't matter. MAYBE IF HE SPENT LESS TIME ON HIS COMEDY ACT HE WOULDN'T WALK SO MANY GUYS

    QFT Colorado? Really? Crean's coaching in the two Vegas games was very...........um............bizarre. Was ESPN's box score right on teh starting lineup for the UNI game? It had Roth, Rivers, and Moore listed as starters. I have to assume that was a screw up right? I still am curious why Moore is getting any tick at all

    I'm not saying I want a one-man booth. I'm just saying it should go back to being a baseball broadcasting team and not the "Pat and X Show" schtick. Hughes was great at making the best of a bad situation with Santo, but that doesn't mean we should be looking for another incoherent ex-Cub for Hughes to riff off of. Has there been any indication that either the Cubs or the fans are looking for that?
