Illinois has 1 opening for 2011, 1 for 2012. Indiana has 23 scholarships committed for 2012 so they can only take 2 more kids. LOL Have you heard anything about this Gibson cat and Illinois? Iowa has one left but Fran is leaning towards banking it for 2012 unless it's a clear upgrade. Heard him mentioned a few weeks ago, no smoke around him recently, I'm guessing he's yours or Dayton's

screw statements like this we all saw it coming, but it doesn't make it any less infuriating. Pretty much. Anyone expecting that is an [expletive]. Just because I expected that to happen doesn't mean that I wanted it to, but I've been watching this team long enough to have much confidence in any other result. So you're usually wrong then.

Let's not pretend that Hendry couldn't have spent on the pen if he wanted to. He didn't need to trade for Garza, he could have dumpster dove for a 1B. It's certainly what I was expecting him to do.

Well that's embarrasing do you think that would have prevented an invitation if this happened a year ago? I know ND isn't AAU, but they seem to get a free pass on that because of superior academic rep (and the fact they are obviously a dream addition to any conference.) It would probably take some extra cajoling of the university presidents, but I imagine money would have won out in the end.
