    Hahaha... just give him what Tulo's first extension which was something like 6/31 or close to it? Add a couple option years on top of that deal. Also I would wait til after this year to see what his final numbers were and give him a deal then... Braun: 8/45 Tulo: 6/31 Longoria: 6/17 Wright: 6/55 Reyes: 4/23.25 Not sure who else had deals like those... Just something to compare. I like Castro as much as the next guy. I know he's young and talented. But come on guys. He is not even in the same league as any of the guys above (except Reyes) through 1+ seasons. Just look at the numbers. Not even close. Look at their numbers when they were Castro's age, not his experience level. You're going to need the minors tab on BR for each one except for Reyes (who was comparable, and then sucked for 2 years) and Braun(who you'll need to dig up college stats on.)

    Don't know if this has been brought up, but speaking of the Cardinals. Lance Berkman signed a 1 year/8 million dollar deal for 2011. Ouch. I think the Cubs might be in first place if we switched the 2. Oh [expletive] me.

    I remember, but that series was basically 2 really good players and their trash teammates going at it. Doesn't say a lot for AI (Plus, Mutumbo was still pretty decent at the time.

    [expletive], look at that Raptors team they beat in the semis. It's Vince Carter, old trash, and young trash. Corliss Williamson started 31 games for them that season!!

    I'm not so sure. Really tough to compare the two since they are polar opposites. But Iverson was a career 41% shooter averaging 6 assists. I'm not a huge fan of Rondo either, but he has a ring. He's a good creator and a good defender. Does Boston win a championship with Iverson instead of Rondo? I'm not so sure. lol, no. I think we can plausibly argue that the 08 Celtics with the 2000 version of AI would've been contenders right? Can you plausibly argue that putting Rondo on the 2000 Sixers instead of AI is a plausible contender? Does that team even win 20 games?     That looked a lot better for Artest on the replay. Catching the dude's head to stop him from falling, just seemed to have gone too aggressively at him.

    Who compared Rondo to Iverson? Rose has been playing like Iverson except he actually has a supporting cast. The main difference between Iverson and the Bulls fans ITT's normal objects of scorn is that his prime coincided with the Bulls being [expletive] terrible so they don't have an irrational hatred of him.

    well wait are rose's complementary players good or not, someone was just saying that rose is carrying mediocre players on a bum ankle. And the Celtics players are old and decrepit and the only reason they're really good. Oh and Rose gets fouled 85 times per game.

    25-10-6 Still better than about 95% of Rondo's playoff games. He's had probably 1 game that bad this postseason. He has never in his career (regular season and playoffs)missed as many shots as Iverson did tonight, and he's turned it over more just once in his career(Bobcats in '09) And Rondo's playing with 3 Hall of Famers and Rose is playing with a SG that wouldn't start on about 20 NBA teams, a black British guy who can't create his own shot, a PF who can't jump/score/defend/do anything, and a Center with basically 0 offensive skills except "tries hard". Switch Rondo and Rose and the Bulls win maybe 40 games this year. God forbid Derrick doesn't care about his shooting percentage because he's carrying a giant pile of [expletive] on his back every single game. On a bad ankle. After 89 games of doing the same thing. Sigh.

    he's resting up for the Boston series Seriously? I think he'll have plenty of time to rest before he takes on the 8th seed again next postseason. Getting knocked out by the Hawks will give him an extra week as well.

    I have a feeling it's ankle concerns. No real evidence aside from the complete lack of driving, and thus FT attempts, but something's off. The Hawks are playing off of him more than any team I've seen, and Rose is obliging them by bricking 3s.

    Why wouldn't you buy them now? I want to be 100% sure the game is being played. I doubt I get a refund if it's not. They are $100+ each for 300 level. Around $200+ each for 200 level. It's fortuitous that I happen to be in Chicago that day! 1. Pretty sure you'll get your money back. 2. You honestly think the Bulls might get swept?
