  1. I know it kind of reeks of panic, but I think the Bulls should use the Boozer injury as an excuse to play him a lot less. You can't let Noah go it alone defending the paint, and the offensive drop-off from Boozer to Gibson really isn't that great.
  2. Everyone else was getting away with armed robbery?
  3. The latest date the Finals will end is June 16th, so no NBA players will be playing on or after Father's Day. I'm expecting a couple rain outs.
  4. oh, so he can't shoot threes or making layups, MVP MVP MVP Don't forget that he lost on Mother's Day after making a big deal out of how much he loved and admired his mom At least he won't have to worry about disappointing his father on Father's Day. Meanwhile, your father beams with pride that his son is a replacement-level troll in the basketball threads of a baseball message board. I don't think you got the joke. Rose doesn't know his father. Also, he won't be playing that late in the season. It's a 2 for 1.

  6. He gets a foul called on him or turns the ball over everytime he tries. Boozer had a pretty nice game for once. For the first time ever, I'm going to say Derrick hogged the ball too much. He needs to penetrate and kick or run a real offense. Perhaps you should listen to my good friend CWebb
  7. Dwight Howard is a loser man. He'll always be a loser. Rose weens. At least Howard made a NBA finals in his life. What, we're rewarding second place now? I prefer that to rewarding Eastern Conference Semifinals appearance. I hear they're hanging a banner for that one. Right next to the Krause banner.
  8. Chris Webber was the only one making sense. Field goal attempts don't exist in a vacuum. This isn't baseball. It's actually a real team sport. That's not what he said, he said how many of those FGA led to him going to the free throw line? Umm, none CWebb. Barkley immediately called him out telling him that means he took even more than 31 shots.

  10. Barkley disagreed. Webber's an idiot
  11. Chris Webber apparently doesn't realize that it doesn't count as a FGA when you get fouled. And then he contradicted himself by saying he's a 6 foot 2 guy who hits those layups among the trees, (IMMEDIATELY AFTER -) he just happened to miss 3 layups down the stretch.
  12. Yeah, Westbrook's not shooting as poorly as Rose.
  13. When Josh Smith said they just need to keep the ball out of Rose's hand did he mean shot out of his hands in the general direction of the basket?
  14. Still time for Rose to hurt his ankle.
  15. Could you imagine the mass confusion if Dick Stockton was announcing that inadvertent whistle. He'd still be trying to figure it out.
  16. Can't some producer point out to Kerr that there was no foul on the play?
  17. Hahaha, clown shoes. No idea what Rose was doing there though.
  18. I don't have DVR at my mom's, but I think that might have been a backcourt violation right before that timeout.
  19. Actually touching Derrick Rose is apparently no longer required to call a foul.
  20. So am I. 8-21 jump shooting [expletive]
  21. lol, what was that a 6 on 1 fast break?
  22. How? What better package is out there? Frankly, I cannot imagine a better package -- or one even remotely close -- than Gasol and Bynum. If/when the Magic trade Howard, I almost guarantee they won't get the equivalent of Gasol/Bynum. I'd talk to the Clippers. See If I could get a first round pick, Eric Bledsoe, and DeAndre Jordan. That's not better than a combo of Gasol and Bynum. Quite frankly, I doubt the Lakers would be willing to part with both. There's also a money issue with that trade. Pau makes $17.8 and Bynum $13.7 while Howard is at $16.6. That leaves at least $10M in salaries the Magic would have to send LA. Also, Howard for Gasol and Bynum isn't much of an improvement. It moves Odom into the starting lineup but then there's nobody left on the bench. They still have no point guard and they're still stuck with Artest for three more years. And Kobe's only getting older. If they managed to get Howard for Bynum and picks and anyone not named Gasol, Odom or Bryant, then it would be a big upgrade. Orlando has no shortage of horrendous contracts to send with Howard.
