  1. So the Cubs are 22-22 (not including one start from Wells/Cashner)) basically when Zambrano, Garza, and Dempster throw? Color me skeptical they'd maintain that ratio. Wells has been back for 2 weeks. Eh, shows how much I've been watching this [expletive] team. Still, the 15-20 starts missed by Cashner/Wells would not put this team at .5oo. Garza missed a few as well. Davis and Russell have been so historically awful, that it wouldn't shock me. They literally have not won a game started by those 2 goofs.
  2. So you're saying the Cardinals have a better front office than us. ETA: And McClellan certainly hasn't pitched like a frontline starter.
  3. You know it's possible to make a post without including an image in it

  5. Getting interesting. Saw this in on of those earlier links you listed: This guy has been in the pros since 2006. He may only be 23, but it's going to take a few years to turn him into a guy capable of throwing 100 pitches every fifth day. Doesn't he have to start going on 40-man rosters pretty soon? Isn't that likely something that will work against him in terms of the patience needed to have him stick as a starter. It looks like Burke will be a 6 year minor league free agent after this season. The fact that he's willing to make the switch to pitcher leads me to believe he'd re-sign with us. Rostering him would avoid making him a free agent, but unless he really impresses at Boise (and above) it'd be tough for a team to roster him.
  6. It's a stretch to believe this team would ever have been perfectly healthy (also it's their failure to not have any decent pitching depth). I never said it wasn't, I was responding to UK's assertion
  7. We're a hilarious 3-17 in games started by fill-in starting pitchers. It's not a stretch to say we'd be 500 with perfect healthy.
  8. That'd be fine with me. Built the late 90s/early 2000s Mariners and the current Phillies. He didn't build the current Phillies, he just stayed out the way(which to be fair Ed Wade was likely incapable of, but he's barely capable of breathing without swallowing his own tongue)
  9. Lebron's really committed to this superheel thing.
  10. So what are the chances Spoelstra keeps his job? Roughly 0%?
  11. From you and the nut riders? yes plz Why would I be crying? Because you pathetically grasp at lebrons nuts after every one of his abject failures Sounds like that would hurt.
  12. YES BOSH BREAKING DOWN!!
  13. From you and the nut riders? yes plz Why would I be crying?
  14. Let's see the tears.
  15. Dallas has like 80 offensive boards in the 4th quarter
  16. Make sure to credit @theotherkapman
  17. I'm not real excited facing 5 AL teams as often as the other 10 NL teams as long as the wild card is around.
  18. There's nothing math-related about it, it's just that there'd have to be interleague year round.
  19. Next person that suggests rebuilding the grandstands in the same place without obstructions is getting shanked.
  20. What a buffoon. Can't wait til his loser kid flames out.
  21. Maybe you should learn how to add up to 12.
  22. It's bizarre to compliment the Cell in the same post you're criticizing Busch III for poor placement and sightlines.
  23. Wow, Escobar's hitting like a SS from 19 dickety 3
