I don't know how it works, but pro-football-reference's attempt at quantifying a team's offense has Green Bay and New Orleans at the top then the Pats, then the Lions, then Houston/Baltimore grouped together, followed by a group of 5 teams including the Jets. The numbers don't show New York as a bad offense. Careful on that limb though that they should lose to New England. You're a modern day Jimmy the Greek. ETA: I'm sure should Denver win, there'll be a reason to explain away that win too.
