    Yeah, I don't get to hear them much. But Funk is always a pretty big homer and was especially so last night. He was downright insulting the Hawks and Josh Smith. Things like "this is the Hawks team we know" and "Smith will do stupid stuff" comments are uncalled for. But I don't know why anyone could hate Stacey King. He's kinda awesome. He's basically a hype man. He's Flavor Flav. He's a lot more Flavor Flav 2000s than Flavor Flav 1980s

    yea he's annoying/obnoxious, but at least he isn't loathsome like funk is. Ok, I get why people would find King obnoxious, but why is funk "Loathsome"? Funk rarely has an idea of what's going on, constantly has the score wrong, his facts wrong or the players wrong, and frequently just makes things up to be heard. He makes Stacey King look like a smart analyst and on top of things. And he has a voice made for a mute.

    by this logic no small market team with no hope of contending this year should ever spend money on a veteran and should aim to have a major league payroll of like $10 million. Oakland sure seems to be operating under this logic when they trade all their good cheap players for prospects every offseason

    You can use your amnesty at any time on a player that was under contract when the CBA was signed. So they could amnesty Boozer at any point, but they still have to pay out that money. It just doesn't count against the cap. But if they amnesty him and some team under the cap puts in an offer of say 5 million, that team pays 5 million and we pick up the remainder, correct? Right. Boozer would almost certainly be claimed.
