  1. [expletive] I want to punch Molina in the [expletive] dick.
  2. I switched WCIU SD because I can't handle ESPN anymore.
  3. Yeah, he's probably tiring. These people are buffoons.
  4. Well that makes a lot more sense.
  5. YEAH RYAN PROBABLY FORGOT HOW TO PITCH WHILE HAVING A LEAD. ALSO KNOWING HOW TO PITCH WITH A LEAD IS DEFINITELY A THING.
  6. Let's give Molina an RBI for not throwing the ball away on that pickoff attempt.
  7. Hey, ESPN should they give an RBI to Molina for that steal too? And why the [expletive] is WCIU blacked out?
  8. Hamels hasn't lived in CA in 10 years. Why is this only a concern when a player is from SoCal?? Are we afraid that Garza is going to go to the Giants? Selma's only an hour farther than SD is from LA Being away from your home state for 10 years does not make it any less of your home state. It's not like he was elsewhere by choice. He was drafted. Free agency can give a guy options, and in a state like CA with 5 teams there's a lot of opportunity for guys to move back, if they want. I think it's something that does happen, so no reason to dismiss it as a potential hurdle. Does it happen more in California than anywhere else?
  9. What? Seems like it's out of spite, because the "independent" arbitrator ruled against MLB. I'm not saying Braun is innocent or guilty (although he's probably guilty), but this just reeks of spite. I wonder if the Player's Union is going to do anything. "Ok, here's the deal.: You're an "independent" arbitrator, but if you rule against us, we'll fire you." What exactly do you think the Player's Union can do? The arbiters can be fired by either side with or without cause. I understand that. The arbitrator is someone agreed upon by both sides who can be dismissed by either side at any time. My point is that it's just petty and spiteful on MLB's part. Yes, they were legally within their rights to do so, but that doesn't make it any less petty. It's not petty, he set a dumbass precedent

  11. They don't do repeat matchups that I'm aware of. Except Illinois has played Maryland 8 billion times.

  13. So, assuming this is something new for this organization, that should keep em happy, I guess. http://www.csnchicago.com/baseball-chicago-cubs/cubs-talk/Cubs-McLeod-Epstein-looking-for-game-cha?blockID=681132&feedID=9399 The link is an interesting read, btw. No, the Cubs did not give their scouts company cars. I know certain organizations that don't give company cars also require that your car be a certain model and have under a certain amount of miles, which is always fun to do when you're putting on between 50K and 80K miles per year and making 35K per year. So McLeod was lying?
  14. DAMN. UNC. How do they determine these matchups? Do they try to evenly match them based on what the teams will be like that year, or based on the previous year? It's obviously not random. I believe it's a little of both with no published 'formula'. UNC just lost most of their starters to the NBA didn't they? It should be a cake walk for the Hoo Hoo Hoosiers at the Hall of Calls. Probably won't even be within 10. It'll be Gary Harris's coming out party.
  15. But Michael wouldn't have done that.
  16. Nobody's said a word about Texas Southern in months, why are you still on this?
  17. Why does it feel like Rodrigo Lopez starts every other game?
  18. I'd say it's far from a given they beat Indiana without him.
  19. Doesn't he still have a no-trade? What a dumbass question to ask. ETA: Hahaha, just realized how this sounded. I might the interviewer, not Andy.
  20. From another NBA great: 19 points on 18 shots in an elimination game. 30 points on 30 shots in an elimination game. 25 points on 22 shots in an elimination game. 31 points on 27 shots in an elimination game. 21 points on 25 shots in a closeout game. 25 points on 24 shots in a closeout game. 23 points on 19 shots in a closeout game. 22 points on 19 shots in a closeout game. 24 points on 23 shots in a closeout game. 28 points on 31 shots in a closeout game. 39 points on 35 shots in a closeout game. 28 points on 25 shots in a Game 7. 28 points on 26 shots in a closeout game including an airballed three-pointer at the buzzer. 44.4% (also 10 rebs and 9 asts) 30% (11 rebs/7 asts) 45.5% (8 rebs/8 asts) 48.1% (8 rebs/9 asts) 36% (4 rebs/8 asts) 33.3% (2rebs/9 asts) 31.6% (3 rebs/2 asts) 26.3% (9 rebs/7asts) 39.1% (7 rebs/7 asts) 35.5% (6 rebs/5 asts) 42.9% (11 rebs/4 asts) 36% (9 rebs/8 asts) 34.6% (4 rebs/4 asts) Bulls went 6-7 in those games... the 44.4/45.5/48.1 games shouldn't be there IMO. Take those 3 games out and the record is now 6-4. The Lakers went 1-0 in the games that started this conversation.
