He'll be 36 in the last year of this contract. -
You didn't like when he looked off our best player, turned it over, and then ran away from his man within two feet from the hoop to give up the lead? I wouldnt be shocked if we found out later that someone saw him playing volleyball somewhere when he was 17 and told him to try a new sport. Didnt that happen with Tim Duncan? Hopefully Abrams' play was bad enough that coach's eyes were opened and playing time will be given away. Egwu seriously did start playing basketball at age 15.

Inadvertant apparently means nonexistent now.
-
turns out we need to keep defending several seconds after the shot clock expires, just to be safe And throw it off that big doof's head when he's out of bounds just so the ref is sure of it.
-
Sure would be nice to watch this Michigan-Duke game, but Dick Vitale is calling it.
-
Well, it's pretty unlikely you have to worry about that, I was just offering a possibility to Tree
-
Un [expletive] real. Abrams played like utter [expletive] once they got the big lead.
-
What the [expletive] [expletive] was that Egwu?
-
Playing [expletive] Weber ball out there.
-
YEAH!!! LET'S GIVE THIS AWAY
-
Well we're not hiring anyone this offseason, so by this time next year after a season of beating Purdue and Rutgers, Petrino will wind up elsewhere.
-
that's exactly what i was about to ask. is it still possible for someone smart to piece together a good offseason that isn't just "um the marlins are dumb so they trade us their five best players for a full report on what dale sveum is like behind closed doors." Sign Ellis 1Y/6.5M Sign Granderson 4Y/50M Baez takes over for whoever sucks more out of Ellis or Valbuena. Granderson-Lake-Nate-Sweeney-Righty OF split time ETA: We probably can't afford to spend that money on a platoon OF, so I guess that's Vitters or McDonald or some waiver wire fodder
-
Wtf?? He must have been Miami or bust, because that deal sucks for him.
-
I'd definitely take Petrino over Kiffin. What about Randy Shannon, I thought he got kind of a raw deal at Miami
-
This game is ugly

You do it to me every year Jimmy

Assuming no crazy backloading that'd likely put the Royals over 100M for the first time ever. -

Ogre would be a good fit. He was as a bigger failure at Ole Miss than Kiffen at USC. And the only reason that anybody is bringing his name up now is the order in which they went 6-2 with him as interim. Its pretty well documented the situations that Kiffen walked into at Oakland and SC. Im not saying hes a great coach, im saying he is a great hire for Illinois. If you would have told Kiffen hed be in Champaign five years ago hed have cut himself. Now hed take the job. I'm bringing his name up b/c I think he's a buffoon and I want to see him tank another program. How exactly does one tank Illinois's program?
-
[expletive], now that I consider motivation behind this, it's totally to allow Reinsdorf a low enough number to still acquire NPB players isn't it
-
This would be the first rules change to benefit us since Theo came on board.
-
What an odd move for Oakland. Johnson is very good, but he'll still get more than he's worth due to the closer tag.
-
I...did not know about this. http://www.amazinavenue.com/2013/12/2/5167974/new-york-mets-non-tender-jordany-valdespin
