I'd go 1. Miss St 2. Ole Miss 3. Florida State 4. Notre Dame 5. Baylor 6. Auburn 7. Bama 8. Oregon 9. Michigan St. 10. Oklahoma Alabama is too high. Looks like I'm in the minority on this one but I think I'd rate Ole Miss ahead of Mississippi State. I went Miss St. first because of the win over LSU. Even though LSU isn't as good as usual this year, winning there is still a better third win than what Ole Miss has. And Bama the nod over Oregon because their loss is better. But I wouldn't be opposed to swapping those two. Though I guess from my own logic from last week I should have TCU over Oklahoma though. Oh well. I just don't think Alabama is that good, to be honest. Then why do you favor University of Mississippi over Miss St?

No, the SEC East is just really bad. I'm not sure any SEC fan would disagree with that. From the looks of it, Georgia is the only team that can be mentioned in any sort of national discussion. The SEC east is not bad. Especially if kentucky ends up being decent. Really the sec west is set apart and the other major conference divisions are pretty equal. The sec east has strong depth with 5-6 solid teams. It's just a down year but top to bottom is much better than the acc coastal and the big ten west and maybe a step behind te PAC divisions. Still pretty solid in the context of FBS. The main reason the sec west is looked at as so remarkable is that the up an coming teams both pulled off two straight upset wins. This has kept the top of the division in te too 10 whereas in previous years alabama and lsu or auburn have destroyed he traditionally mediocre teams like ole miss and msst. Part of the formula that has created this narrative is alabama and LSU/auburn not being able to dominate the division as it has in the past. Is this years sec west better than say 2011 when LSU and Bama were definitely the two best teams in the country and Arkansas was a top 5 team muc of the season. I believe that was the year they were 1,2 & 3 in the BCS very late in the season. Now in the sec west you have a lot more parity than usual. I guess this is why my parody of an SEC homer gets taken as serious posts.

Was thinking it had been a while since there was some blatant SEC snobbery in the thread. Our high ranked teams wouldn't be squeaking out a win against UNC, the same team that gave up 29 to Liberty. Mississippi State beat UAB by 13 points.

Is anybody watching the FS1 broadcast instead? It's amazing in its lack of Joe Buck and Harold Reynolds.

They've only had Willingham and Downs for a couple months, I'm not sure if their salaries are indicative of the year-long threshold that Glass will want to reach payroll-wise. Maybe with the playoff money/success though. Shouldn't have trusted Cots individual numbers adding up to the sum
