Moises was the only one I really didn't like on the '04 team. Hitting like he did that year though made him tolerable.

    I missed Verlander's gf :(
  3. SouthSideRyan
Echoing everybody, but Verlander was sick out there.

Bring back Paul Bako!!! We need defense!

    A LEFTY AL PITCHER.
  6. SouthSideRyan
    AN AL PITCHER.

I tried like hell the past year or so trying to sell Verlander high, and could never get any takers. Maybe I should keep him.

    NEIFI~!!!``

Stop walking Bill Hall!! It's killing my fantasy team.

What the F happened to Matt Murton?
  11. SouthSideRyan
Seriously why the hell did he barehand that?

If Beltre doesn't pick it you can bet it was a rocket. DeRosa really doesn't get the love he's deserved thus far this year.

I really wanted a blowout so I could go swim tonight. Thanks guys.

Seriously Darin Jackson is having a conversation with himself.
  15. SouthSideRyan
    Ugly inning.

White Sox getting murdered. My TV sucks, so I'm not certain of the score, but only Darin Jackson is talking, so it can't be good for them.

That looked like an obvious balk to me. I don't understand the complaining.
  18. SouthSideRyan
Thank you for not walking an AL pitcher.
  19. SouthSideRyan
Yeah I thought he was safe too. But still props to Izturis on the play.

Betancourt robs Izturis of a 90 foot single.
  21. SouthSideRyan
Izturis up following a walk? A groundout on a 3-1 seems just about guaranteed.

'04 might've been the best team in the last 50 years.

The rally killer label is something that you can blame the saber geeks for in this case. Dunn's Babip is very avg. career wise. He seemingly only walks, k's, and hits HR. Some GMs only really want guys who can put the ball into play....but obviously Hendry isnt one of those guys. Havent looked at it in a while, but would be interested to see how the shift has been affecting his avg. Either way, there is cause for concern for a team in getting him that needs him to advance runners ie continue rallys(most contenders have multiple run producers) instead of just driving them in (only 1 or 2 run producers). Walks and HRs don't continue rallies?$

That's why I am really confused. Must not remember him because he doesn't have an avatar. I'm f'd.

This was a total Winthrop-Tennesee pairing.
