High School Musical 2 isn't nearly as good as the original.

EXACTLY what I was thinking... not real thrilled to get this game underway again now. I could just see Duncan hitting a lazy fly up into the jetstream in one of the first pitches back into the game, and watching it sail out with the wind, to tie it up - and then get more rain to suspend the game til tomorrow or some crap. wow that would be some pop up!!! weather nerd.

WHats up? Talking about someone who's injured(Zumaya maybe) and how badly the team wants to get him back on the roster before September so that he could play in the playoffs.

Wood hasn't looked all the great and this is a pivotal game. We've got a 3 run lead. He needs to work his kinks out so he can be a valuable part of the pen coming down the stretch. You say that like a 3 run lead is safe? not entirely, but we're facing a horrible lineup (save pujols) and it's STILL a 3 run lead. You're acting like its a tie game against the '27 yankees. And Pujols is due up second this inning So Woody can't face any good batters, even with a 3 run lead? How's he going to get his confidence? Based on the way Wood looked in his last outing, I'd prefer Piggy right now. And now it's a 2-run lead. Was I watching a different game on Wednesday?

Reyes was throwing meatballs in the 3rd, nothing wrong with swinging 1st pitch in that case. Of course Murton popped out, so it likely wasn't a meatball he threw him there. Can we preemptively cut off the Choi/Patterson discussion, if not for me, then for the people/person following the game through this thread?
