The Mets are sneaky decent and getting Matt Harvey back. And playing in the worst division in baseball. Maybe NL West. Close call. Both have elite top teams, but I'd take the Padres over the Mets and the Giants over the Marlins. The Philles, D-Backs, and Rockies all suck.

Last I remember, every system that was ranked #1 by BA since 2000 (including the Cubs) had a realistic shot at the world series. It's not a bad thing. also, f pitchers. The Diamondbacks had the #1 system in 2006. And the Rangers and Rays ('07-10, 12)are probably the worst teams in their respective divisions.

Still going to be tough to compete with LA and SF in their division (obviously there's 2 WCs though) They also get ~36 games against the worst 2 teams in the majors.

I don't get how it's more bad news...doesn't it just mean we might get it even more often if it's purely off merit and not just "lets give everyone a turn?" You have to bid for it. How is that merit?

Unless something changes, Justin Upton will be in RF, Wil Myers will be in CF and Shawn Kemp will be in LF. Then they still have Quentin, Venable and Maybin as backups. Is there anything Shawn Kemp can't do? Wrap it up
