Hard to give Ramirez an error on that, and they pretty much never give an error to a first baseman on a scoop.(which I disagree with, it's part of their job, that's an error on Lee.) I'd give the error to Ramirez. He made a good play fielding the grounder, but he had enough time to get the runner by a step or two. He made a bad throw, so to me that's an error. The throw bounced, but it was right on line, that's an easy scoop that most first baseman make. considering that lee is one of the best in the game at scooping balls in the dirt, i don't see how you can say that "most first basemen" make that play Wasn't phrased correctly, that play is made by the average 1B 95% of the time. Even the best in the business don't get it done every single oppurtunity(hence why I say it's an error on Lee.) There aren't many easier scoops than that one.(bounced a little too close to the bag) Is it your belief that every throw that doesn't get there on a fly that isn't handled cleanly is an error on the thrower?
