  1. Soriano's struggling, he's not comfortable as leadoff man.
  2. Hard to give Ramirez an error on that, and they pretty much never give an error to a first baseman on a scoop.(which I disagree with, it's part of their job, that's an error on Lee.)
  3. have you seen hill run/field? it's pretty obvious that he's a lousy athlete. it's why I hate the DH in minor league ball. I realize that it helps you develop more hitters, but it atrophies your pitchers hitting ability really badly I love it, pitchers in A ball and lower don't need to waste their time learning how to bunt and whatnot. yeah, but if really good-hitting pitchers from high school and college kept hitting all the way through the system, then their spot in the lineup in the majors wouldn't be an automatic out You don't have to use the DH. If a franchise decided this would be beneficial to their system, then they should have their pitchers bat for themselves. That was a harder scoop, well done Derrek.
  4. Pitching to Theriot was curious, no matter how much he's been sucking. We have no average hitting pitchers, kinda odd. Zambrano and Marquis are probably 2 of the 10 best hitting pitchers in baseball. Hill and Lilly might be 2 of the 10 worst. Marshall was just as bad.
  5. Hill needs to be stretched out tonight. He's gotta get through 6 even if it takes him 120 pitches.
  6. Not even the almighty Geo Soto? If he said nobody on this team is even close to Soto at throwing out baserunners would you snark to that?
  7. Albers probably shoulda thrown the ball to first, and ya know taken the out. Probably shoulda bunted with Kendall.
  8. Adam Everett gets to that does a somersault and then throws out DeRosa.
  9. I can't say definitively so? Sorry Len. D-O-N-E is how I spell Cardinals.
  10. Oh, and Bob Brenly blamed it on the pitcher. According to Bob, Kendall can be blamed for approximately 2 of the baserunners he hasn't thrown out. And yeah, our pitchers do suck at holding on baserunners, but not as bad as Kendall sucks at defense.
  11. Hey guys, Jason Kendall didn't throw out a baserunner!
  12. I'm a trendsetter. Trendsetter. Soap dropper. Same difference. Yeah, a bad mother soap dropper.
  13. BB starting the game very annoyed with the Cubs. Good for him.
  14. Yes, one of the Sox fans at my work spent an hour complaining about it.
