  1. Plz just get out of this now, another run and we're in trouble.
  2. Jesu Cristo, is there anyway a team could be a playoff team after blowing 15 games after having a 3 run lead, cause that's what the Brewers have.
  3. Arroyo and his .101 career avg kills us again! Again another stupid little brokeass dink hit kills us.
  4. No he catches that way more than 1/20, that's why I'm annoyed. He got a late break on it. I might be Jones's biggest defenders when it comes to his defense, but he's gotta catch that ball.
  5. I don't know how you don't catch that.
  6. It's great not to have to worry about them - Howard has 2 HRs and the Phillies have 4 haha we're going to be worrying about them when the brewers are beating the hell out of them next week. I have an inexplicable feeling the Cards are sweeping the Brewers.
  7. Assistant Trainer came out to the mound he was awkwardly stretching out his leg after a pitch. Couldn't see anything specific on the actual pitch, but there was definitely something that bothered him.
  8. It's games like this that make it suck when you're too poor to afford MLB TV and have to follow Gamecast. Jones singled sharply to RF, Griffey double pumps towards home and instead throws to 3rd. As the throw is coming in to 3rd DeRosa just stops about 15 feet shy of the bag, and the throw hits him in the back of the leg, he walks in to 3rd safely. My first thought was he was stopping to ensure Derrek scored before he got tagged out. Kasper theorized he may have read Encarnacion's eyes and purposely got in the path of the throw.
  9. Shrug, I don't mind the bunting comments. You do come off as over-the-top Rich Hill basher just as much as those you criticize who are over-the-top Jason Marquis bashers (or Zambrano bashers in April and August). If Hill my favorite Cub? No. Do I ever say things about Hill that are even comparable to those said from time to time about Floyd, Jones, Kendall, Marquis, etc? Not even close. Well Hill's better than the 4 of them, so it would make sense that things aren't said about him that are as bad as that of the other 4.
  10. Geo Soto's still out there Jason. Remember it, act accordingly. Raisin, I'll let you know what happened when things slow down.
  11. I'm with Len, I thought that ball was about 20 feet out.
  12. And all you asking what the response would be if Marquis had one of these games, ask yourself that question. Jesus, at least Hill has a minor league track record to base being a "fanboy" over. Marquis has been a league average pitcher most of his career and for some reason he seems to be half this board's favorite ax to grind for.
  13. That post was sarcams btw, to prove a point that not all hits, not all runs are the same. Giving up rockets all over the field make it more a pitcher's fault when he has a bad outing compared to the ground ball that (as I said Cedeno woulda got to) sneaks thru the IF to tie the game. Rich was straight up dealing for 4 innings, then gave up a couple hard hit balls, followed by some poor luck. Let's castrate him.
  14. Yeah, you're all Hill fanboys remember when Trachsel went 5 IP and gave up only 2 RUNS!! and you were all ripping him.
  15. That's not it, he's not clutch and he only has 1 pitch and he hasn't been in the majors for at least 5 years so he can't handle a pennant race and us stat nerds need to watch a game for once and get our head out of the spreadsheets.
  16. I can see the smile on your face somehow.
  17. Very close, but the ball beat him.
  18. Cedeno probably knocks that down.
