Ann Arbor is a whore shirts are everywhere. Notre Dame and Illinois have them as well. Cause seriously, she's a huge slut. And it's Army/Navy by a country mile. Though, I am interested to know who voted ND/USC since Andy and myself did not. It's not as trivial as CubinNY implies, but I have a hard time putting it in top 5 out of that list. -
What happened during the Penn St/Purdue game? I havent heard anything controversial from that game. Also except for the early fumble call was there any bad calls in the Illinois/OSU game. Robiskie probably fumbled one back to us that wasn't called.

I think whatever Sean Marshall did to Jim Hendry's dog, Rich Hill did to half the people on this board's sisters. Rich Hill is a very valuable commodity, and it doesn't seem like we're ever gaining anything by trading him away in any of these proposals.

I don't get it. His trade value is only that which people will give up for you. Whether you think he's worth something or not, his actual trade value is only the best package you can get. -
I've had Randy Winn on my brain for a while. I assumed it would be for Murton. But there was talk the other day of Marquis in an exchange of bad contracts. That's better, if not optimal. If Randy Winn is the big change in RF that would be awful. If Matt Murton's the chip used to get him that would be worse. Fritter, fritter there goes the payroll boost. True, a Jenkins/Murton platoon wouldn't be bad out there, and may even be a shade better than what we had in RF last year. But you know what would be even better?? Murton in RF + 5M to make an upgrade that actually means something! It's SOP all over again. Spend 6M on a lefty platoon partner in RF. Another 4M on a LOOGY for a slight upgrade on Ohman. 3M on a platoon partner for Pie. Maybe another 7M on a 5th starter once Sean Marshall is sent to prison for mudering Hendry's cats. Ta-da, 20M the Jim Hendry way.

Those bashers re: Prior/Wood certainly don't exist here. Few things get flogged more than the ridiculous notion in the past couple years that we should release Prior/Wood so we can move on.

Oh and I would be giddy over the NY media, the Steinbrenner spawn, and St. Jeter all saying how they love Arod, and what a great guy he is, and how much they need him, only to have Rodriguez go to Anaheim. Not gonna happen, but it sure would be cool. Oh and the Rangers suck.

ESPN was saying 10/220 last time I heard. Rodriguez is an ass if he went ahead and negotiated without Boras. Thanks for the help Scott, oh by the way see ya later, and I'll be taking your commission with me. And yeah, I know it's sacrilege to feel bad for Boras, but it's a bogus move to pull if the story is as reported where he's ceding to the Yankees demands that Boras not be involved in the negotiations. I've always been very pro A-Rod and the NY media and fans have been disgraceful towards him, but he needs to get over this wanting to be loved thing. Go out and do your thing, go be Barry Bonds if you have to and be surly to everyone, don't come to me with this public half apology on your website. They're never going to love you there, and if you can't handle that then don't go back.

Nobody's saying give it to a guy who's defensively average with mediocre numbers. Tulowitzki is neither. He's an above average hitter for a SS, and he's an excellent defender for a SS. Berroa '03 is not = Tulowitzki '07. -

I agree that questionmark is overrating Crawford/underrating Hill, but you're doing the opposite tomy. Hill is not easily better than Crawford. I'd likely give the nod to Crawford straight up. Taking into account salary, Hill has a fighter's chance, but I think you're overrating Hill. And this is from a guy with a Rich Hill jersey.

Yes, those THREE blown saves he had last year were horrible. Especially in comparison to his TWENTY EIGHT converted saves. Dempster isn't that bad. Yes, but how many games did he have where he came in in a non-save situation and then proceeded to either give up the lead or let the other team right back into the game? I know it was certainly more than three. Once with a non-save lead. Four times coming in with a tie score, left the game trailing(1 in a 2 inning outing, another in the meaningless game 162.

How bout Hendry wait until there's actually a market for Jones rather than forcing the market and not saving nearly enough money on something that's supposed to be a salary dump. Hendry's as worried about being everybody's friend as Dusty was.

I wasn't that happy giving up Rapada, mainly cause I wanted him as an extra LOOGY in September, but I don't think he really has a great future. Trading Monroe was the right thing to do, he's gonna make too much money and has no place on the team. It's trade or it's non-tender.

Pretty sure those dates are wrong. Gooz isn't coming back in 9 months, and Prior's best case is better than a year and a half.
