    I'm more than positive that KU will give him a raise. Will it be more than OSU? Probably not, but he'll be one of the top paid coaches in the country, without a doubt. If Self goes to OSU, then he can. He did what Roy couldn't do. KU will find another solid coach. I pray- literally pray- that Self will stay at Kansas so that OSU will go after Billy Gillispie. I would actually drive to Lexington, pick a McDonalds inside a Wal-Mart and sit there all day listening to that reaction. Pure comedic gold, I tell ya. Crean bolting IU to replace Self at KU would be so delicious it would have to be fattening(Hey, if I'm gonna go fantasy schadenfreude, I'm goin all the way.)

    If this was a battle of pricks as coaches (and players), Memphis would win this game going away. There are plenty of pricks to go around out there. It's why I wanted you guys to win. Failing that, Carolina.

    That was a comeback, not a choke. KU kept giving Memphis chances to win, and they kept choking. And I had a feeling your smile to my post was based on that.

Like this article for example. http://www.sportsline.com/collegebasketball/story/10762646 That just kinda pisses me off, becuase not the fact that I am not a KU fan, but the fact that media outlets are still crying that UNC is still better than KU. Sorry, I don't buy that. KU just smoked UNC. Plain and simple as that. Yeah. Fact is, when we weren't playing dumb, we were hammering them. You guys murdered them, but UNC was playing like a 16 seed the first 15 minutes of the game. After playing awesome all tourny long. Maybe that is because KU's defense is that good. I can see no argument for UNC being the better team after that throttling KU put on them. I never said UNC has an argument as being better. KU pants them on the national stage. UNC also played a horrendous first 15 minutes where they were dribbling across half court and then handing the ball to KU.

    I will admit that putting Lofton in CF with 2 superior defenders in the corners would make me chuckle just a little bit. Not as much as I'd die inside, but there would be that chuckle.

    I'm guessing you're thinking of Edgar Martinez, not Brett Boone. Though Martinez did play quite a few games at 3B early in his career. Even the DHiest of DHs like Pronk or Frank Thomas put in time in the field. That said, it's an abomination. Bastardization of the game.
