pretty impressive you can come to this conclusion because of one game. even more impressive you can come to it after praising iowa the whole preconference season and as recently as a couple days ago. I praised Iowa mainly on what I saw in the box score, not what I saw in person. I was impressed by the OSU loss because I didn't think the loss of Lighty would mean that much. Watching them face Minnesota today I think I was wrong. I never wavered on my belief that Iowa was #10 in conference, and even as recently as the Lipscomb loss, I still gave IU a fighting chance against them at home. The Drake loss had me questioning things a bit. This win has me calling into question the entire season. Through the extreme early part of the Big Ten season, 3 teams haven't looked good. Michigan, Iowa, and IU. Of course it's early, but there's really no reason that IU should ever be in a Big Ten road game all year let alone having it come down to the last 30 seconds of the game. The talent disparity is really that big that IU should lose every road game by 20. And yeah, some of it is taking the piss out of you guys, but this was a bad basketball game where even when Iowa was up double digits it wasn't pretty. I know Big Ten basketball isn't pretty, but this set things back a bit. I will say(and I'm probably biased by the fact that I was rooting for Iowa) that it seemed there was no homecourt ref advantage that I usually expect in Big Ten play. I hope the officials aren't playing the NCAA card and "taking into account the current state of Indiana basketball"
