    I was just about to post the same thing. I wouldn't say they're not ready to go far, just that they're very vulnerable because of Collins. On the flipside, they could make a final four run if he stays hot. They've gotta get some luck with the draw to avoid a lock down perimeter defender.

    It's the style of play. Yep the style of play us 1900s Big Ten teams can't keep up with. We just play 4 corners offense every time down and would get throttled by a team like Mizzou. What's even stranger is that OU beat Mizzou by like 15 in Norman last year with a worse team. Mizzou was way worse last year too.

Wow, good job, no one even mentioned the Big Ten. Plus, no one is saying Mizzou isn't beatable, they definitely are and it's not that awful to do (as Illinois, kansas and Nebraska showed this year) Edit: Unless that was from a previous discussion with CubInOK that I missed. Then I apologize. It was addressed to Smack. I figured I'd take heat for that. Damn impressive win tonight for you guys. You're really good, and as Sulley said, KEEP WINNING

    And neither Duke nor Louisville would win the Big Ten. I'll ignore that you moved the goalposts of saying the top 4 teams in each conference would win the Big Ten, cause you couldn't possibly believe that.

    the big ten doesn't stand a chance in the tournament. purdue looks terrible on a fairly regular basis... illinois held to 33 at home... purdue dominates michigan state by 19... really... i don't think anyone in the big ten would be in the top 3-4 in the acc or big east... This is utter [expletive]. Look at what these teams did in their nonconference. and you're an incredible big ten homer... Yep, explains why I have 3 Big Ten teams as locks for the tourney. Big 10 nonconference wins of note: Oklahoma St. by 15 (N), @ Texas, KU by 13, Missouri by 16 (N), BC (N), Davidson by 18, Louisville (N), @ VA Tech, @ Miami, Butler, UCLA (N), Duke, FSU by 14 Losses of note: UNC by 35, Maryland by 18 (N) Oklahoma by 5 (N), Duke by 16, Rhode Island (N), Temple, UConn by 19 (N), Texas, WV by 28, Duke by 15 (N), @ Maryland, @ Stanford

    20-9 while playing one of the hardest schedules in the country should be a lock. What if they're 21-11 after a first game loss to Providence in the tournament next week? Or worse, they drop that game to DePaul? They'll likely be 1-7 against the Top 25 and 4-8 against the Top 50 going into the Big East tournament. I'm probably just more conservative than most, but to me a lock has to be able to lose the rest of their games and still get in. I don't think WVU can do that, or even be 100% safe at 21-11 considering they have 2 wins to hang their hat on for the whole season. nobody has lost to depaul, even rutgers... wvu isn't going to do so at home. They only lost by 2 to a better team last week.

    Yeah, I know bukie, just double checking myself. I've got 25 right now. Sell me on Xavier, Butler, Utah, and West Virginia I've got Utah with losses to a pretty terrible Idaho St. team and a non-D1 Southwest Baptist. Lost to a Utah St. team I have barely on my 30+ bubble teams. Only split with bubblers SDSU and UNLV. On the plus side, Utah St. game was on the road and only by 2. Lost by only 3 to Cal who I locked. Beat locks BYU, Gonzaga, and LSU(by 30) They're definitely in the top group of my bubble. Xavier I've got with to non-factors Duquesne and Charlotte. On the plus side they've got a win at LSU and Mizzou and Memphis both on neutral courts. Again, they're top of my bubble, but I wouldn't lock them. Butler's got a win at Xavier and a close loss at OSU They've got losses to non-factors at Green Bay and Milwaukee. They've got a loss at home to a terrible Loyola team. I don't think they're anything close to a sure thing. West Virginia beat the living crap out of Villanova at home and OSU on the road. On the downside there's not a lot. The losses to Davidson, Kentucky, and Cincy aren't great, but they shouldn't keep them out. Beat DePaul tomorrow, I guess I'll lock them.

    I glossed over the WAC earlier. I do not like Utah St. I think I've got them as 1 bid. I'm putting together my locks right now, and I'm having a really hard time putting together 34. I'm stuck at 21 right now.

    And the Big Ten has their own network, which both competes with ESPN(s) and if successful will cause other conferences to start their own networks.

    Well if they win out until the championship, they likely end up 4-10. Again, it's not great, but they're worth considering at that point.

    Only one worse seeded team wins in their conference tourney today(UIC a 6 over Youngstown St. a 5). Most importantly, VMI won. I really want to see them in the tourney with their Marymount offense. They face Stephon Curry's brother's Liberty team on Thursday in the semis.

    Georgetown loses to St. John's Cincy loses to South Florida. Big East tourney or nothing for both of them.
