    And neither is North. Wouldn't it make more sense to think he got lucky with perfect timing that one time than think he's some sort of shrewd businessmen and that it's shocking he would get involved with a fraudulant huckster's scam? I don't understand how somebody could think Mike North is shrewd, and be surprised that a venture he was involved in starting came to a crashing hault months into it's existence. I mean, it actually makes more sense to me that the only type of person that would actually hire a guy like Mike North as an "executive" at his company is somebody who declared bankrupty multiple times. Seriously, if he was shrewd, why would he even get involved with somebody like that? There's a boat load of shrewd business men/woman who got involved with Bernard Madoff... That's not really comparable.

    I don't know how you can say a team that won 97 games last year has had its window closed. They're a worse team, but they're still a team capable of winning the world series without adding anything. Our offense is mostly comprised of players on the wrong side of 30 who all have large contracts that make moving them difficult. We could definitely be in for a string of bad years coming up. Yeah, I don't see how that affects this year's chances. You don't go from a 97 win team to non-contender overnight.

    I'd love to get Acta in our system to be a bench coach down the line. I don't know if he spits enough nonsesne to the media/his players to work as a manager, but he actually knows what the hell he's doing strategy wise.
