This game was during that stretch where I actually managed to get over my hatred for Jim Edmonds. I never thought he would do it, but he did it. Geo was fat then, too. GO!!! Yup this is where most Cubs fans accepted Edmonds. Braves game, game-tying HR.

Kevin Hart and Mitch Atkins are not centerpieces to any trades. Half those guys in your second list wouldn't bring back cash considerations.

I think Miles is in more danger than Freel. I think Blanco-Miles-Freel is the order of likelihood on who goes out when Freel comes back.

Probably the pitch that could've been called strike three on the 1-2. I thought he was throwing Guillen under the bus because before the AB he seemed to assume they'd walk Soriano to get to Theriot.

Dye takes a pitch in the same exact location as Soriano. It's called a ball. Hawk's comment was "Soto wanted that" I thought it was amazing what one missed call could do Hawk?

I can't remember, I think we liked Utay. Ricketts would have to really be dragging his feet if this is legit, cause I don't see how they get comparable dollars in the current market. -
