  1. My guess is Nix if he's there
  2. No he just sucks As opposed to Russell?
  3. @BleacherNation: RT @dan_bernstein: I'm told the #Cubs have been informed by Joe Girardi's camp that he will listen if they want to talk. Indeed they do.
  4. It amazes me they gave a hockey guy the Cubs beat. I like Jesse and he does great filling in on the air, but goodness he doesnt know much of anything about baseball. Doesn't know much about hockey either.
  5. I would agree there is no urgent need to trade him, but with DeJesus, Sweeney and Bogusevic coming off the DL eventually and Sveum being in love with Lake, it could be justified.
  6. That's very possible. It's been a really long day. But I'm not sure what was wrong. I said Adderall has different effects for people with ADD and those without ADD. I agreed that for people with ADD it helps calm them. And I said that for people without ADD it acts as a stimulant. And stimulants do help people concentrate and focus. I've taken Adderall and I felt very focused. If that's wrong then oh well.
  7. What he's saying is that it's a stimulant and does, for whatever paradoxical reason, help many people with ADHD calm down and concentrate and it does not help people without ADHD. I know. What I was trying to say is that for those who don't have ADD it can improve focus and concentration. That's why a lot of baseball players abuse it. Anyways, Law seems to think it will improve the chances of him being taken #1 b/c the Astros will have an easier time low balling him. Not sure I'm buying it, but it's interesting. Except you're wrong. It simply acts as a stimulant for people without ADD. If you have ADD, it can have the opposite effect, which is to relax you enough so you can sit still and pay attention. In no way, shape or form does it help a person without ADD concentrate. You're wrong. Baseball players take it because they can't take greenies anymore. That's what I said.

  9. You are talking about people with ADD and I am talking about people without ADD who abuse Adderall, such as Jonathan Gray.
  10. It's an amphetamine and doesn't help people to concentrate, just the opposite. In some people with ADHD it s known to have a "paradoxical" effect calming the CNS. Kids abuse it because they are stupid, and for no other reason. For those who don't have ADHD and take it, it actually does help them concentrate. Nope What? It's an amphetamine, a stimulant. People with ADHD may have a different reaction from a drug then people without ADHD.

  12. Watch out for hop-ons. You're gonna get hop-ons.
