    The Brown AAA debut is reason enough to tune in tonight, but the hitters will be facing Gavin Williams. I want to see how Mervis does against that terrific fastball.

    The covid year really messed up my perception. Normally a 23 year old mashing at High A, even the year immediately after being drafted, was easily ignored. But now? There are plenty of pitchers his age that he faced in High A. It's not like he was beating up on 20 year olds. A weird time for us prospect nuts. I'm surprised that he wasn't moved up to take Brown's spot, with Horton taking his spot at SB.

    That pick makes no sense to me. Did Swift die this offseason? Did Montgomery blow his knee while signing his contract?

    Had a 12 pitch AB his first time up as well. Struck out looking but fouled off a bunch of pitches.

    Yeah, I would be pretty disappointed if they traded anything for Dalvin. He's been very open about his desire to play in Miami, so just wait for Minny to cut him. I like him as a player, but not at his current price tag.

    At least the ones that already had decision-making questions, anyway. It wouldn't shock me if it was Houston that leaked the score, so that they can point to that for their fans when they go defense at #2.

    It's crazy, but I thought he actually could have thrown FEWER strikes tonight. He had at least a couple guys down 0-2 or 1-2 in the count and threw the ball over the plate. It was all weak contact, but that likely won't be the case as he climbs the ladder.

    This is one of the best TE classes I can remember. It's lying season, but supposedly some teams have failed Washington's medicals. Somebody might be getting a steal with him if he drops (hopefully Miami).

    Made with an impressive start to the season after a 4 hit day with a bomb. Has anyone seen any exit velos for him?
