    lol...funniest thing i have seen on here in a while... ***Disclaimer*** I predicted the Rays over the Braves in the World Series at the beginning of the season. Rays v. Rangers - Rangers in 4 Twins v. Yankees - Yankees in 5 Reds v. Phillies - Reds in 5 Giants v. Braves - Braves in 5 Rangers v. Yankees - Rangers in 6 Braves v. Reds - Reds in 7 Rangers v. Reds - Rangers in 6 I doubt I am right, but regardless I have a feeling the World Series will have a very interesting match-up this year. I think it is entirely possible the Twins could steal the series from the Yankees. Likewise, I wouldn't be shocked to see the Braves or the Giants in the series either. Basically, as strong as the Phillies are this season, I don't think they make it.

    Oh hell no. No, no, no, no, no. He would cost too much. They probably want Starlin, and Hendry is probably stupid enough to make the trade.

    The only way I would do that is if it was for someone like Colvin straight up. Other than that, I would rather explore some of the more attractive options over in Kansas City.

    We have the 8th pick right now? Unreal. I was hoping for at least top 5.

    Tyler Colvin (chest) will remain in the hospital for a few days. He was impaled by a broken bat in his upper left chest during Sunday's game. A tube was inserted in his chest to allow air in and prevent his lung from collapsing. It's a scary situation, but fortunately it appears as though Colvin will be OK. per rotoworld Hopefully all will be well. One of the craziest things I have ever seen.

    Update - Taken in an ambulance to the hospital. No word yet on if it was precautionary or not.

    Wow. Colvin just got spiked by a broken bat in the upper left chest on his way to home plate. :shock: Hope he is alright.

    They have Mike Moustakas tearing it up for them. He looks to be their 3rd baseman of the future. Who knows what is going on with Gordon. They are going to be shipping some players out soon though because they are running out of spots unless they are planning on fielding a really really bad defensive squad.

    Rumors are starting to surface about him possibly being shopped because his price tag will increase. I know it goes against the Hendry M.O., but I would love for the Cubs to swing a trade with the Royals for Billy instead of overpaying for Adam Dunn. I wonder what the Royals would want in the package? Surely a decent pitching prospect and position prospect but he shouldn't be extremely expensive.

    I am surprising quite sad about this whole situation. I honestly didn't think I would have reacted this way, but there you have it. Does anyone know what is wrong with Lou's mother? I am guessing it is probably just old age at this point?

    I am really very happy for Lee and the Braves. I think Lee will find a new groove, like Stella, and the Braves will catch a spark and start actually winning the games Tommy Hanson pitches.
