    What if this is about Haren's stark loss of velocity this past season? You'd be crying more foul if Haren proved to be damaged goods next April (Not that Marmol is anything but damaged goods at this point) eh, i'd probably chalk it up as a risk that didn't work out. an effective haren is going to net us a better deal than an effective marmol.

    there's no way we get anything close to haren for marmol from another team. there had to be an issue with haren's medical. there's no other logical explanation.

    it's pretty obvious the cardinals got this to 7 games on purpose so the tigers would have to wait around a whole week before playing again, while the cards bats keep their timing. cards win tonight and sweep the tigers.
