I think he writes a pretty compelling case, and the things that were said to him by his coaches is disturbing and unacceptable, but in terms of linking what was said/done to him and his release from the Vikings, there are 2 sides to every story. Either way, he's certainly blackballed now. our punter was pretty much decapitated, surely he had a place on the bengals roster if he wasn't blackballed. valid point. I know the Bears brought him in for a tryout somewhere in October/November. Did the Bengals even bring him in. Maybe he was blackballed, but I'm still somewhat dubious that his campaigning for marriage equality was the main reason he was cut. I edited my previous post to add that in a results driven league, it seems illogical to burn a 5th round pick and cut their adequately performing punter because he was outspoken about marriage equality. from december 17th
