    of course i'm in full bitter angry cubs fan mode like everyone else, but color me extremely skeptical that this mega fox tv deal is going to go down like it's been rumored.

    He's pretty good, and his absence just makes for one more hole to fill. yeah he looks better on fangraphs than he does on baseball-reference. still, talking about $100 million for a pitcher nearing 30 with 1 good and 1 half decent season as a starter isn't something that excites me

    can't remember who originally had this idea, but what about simply narrowing the goal posts? kickers now are too good, and narrowing the goal posts might make the game more interesting.

    as a compromise with the city maybe ricketts agreed to keep the cubs clubhouse the same but build a state of the art locker room for the mascot
