  1. I'm hoping Groce kneecaps Sheehey for celebrating
  2. Combination of some Iowa miscues and horribly bad luck. 4 Big Ten losses now where they led in the final minute. 3 of them against the top half of the league, 3 of them on the road. Wisconsin's 3 that rattled around then went off glass then in pretty much summed it up. Followed by our game-winning shot being 3/4 of the way down then rolling out. This team is a [expletive] hair from being a lock for the tournament and playing for a 5-6 seed. Instead we'll end up in the NIT. Iowa is so close to being good; I thought they'd squeak into the tournament this year, but that's not looking likely. They are going to be the proverbial "out of nowhere" team next year though. They're 3-7 in conference but I wouldn't write them off for this year's tournament yet. They should win these: Northwestern @Penn State @Nebraska Purdue Nebraska Meaning they only need to win one of these to get to 9-9 in conference: Minnesota Illinois @ IU Their schedule was just really front loaded. Plus they're going to look hot coming down the stretch which will benefit them. If they hit 9-9 in the B1G this year, and 20 wins, they're a lock.
  3. Could you tell me where Jonathan Cooper and Lane Johnson went (obviously Joeckel, Fisher and Warmack won't be available)? I'd rather have Cooper than Fluker, not sure about Johnson. I can't see Kiper's draft (insider) but Walterfootball has Johnson going #11 to the Chargers, and Cooper going to the Bears. Fluker to Carolina in 2nd round, #44 overall. Kiper has Cooper going to the Chargers at #11 and Johnson going to the Rams at #16.
  4. Irish recruits go to Notre Dame because they're the greatest ever and have the greatest fan base in the known universe.
  5. I was at a Milwaukee Admirals game last Friday and one of the Chicago Wolves players ran the Ads goalie. The Ads defensemen did nothing about it. I explained to my fiancee that the defenseman standing next to the goalie should've immediately started punching the Wolves player in the face. The lady next to us looked horrified.
  6. Let's hope everyone spends their money wisely!
  7. 20 seconds and Burke comes up with a fade away 3?
  8. How dare they accuse the All-American white man!?!? Anti-Semites!
  9. Then dont say say it. Bama doesnt dominate its own conference (which you dont consider a dominant conference). They have 5 conference loses in the last 3 years. What USC used to do to the pac ten in the mid 00s was dominating a conference. Bama is in the middle of a great run but it's getting overblown. 3 National Championships in 4 years is 'getting overblown'? Odds on favorites for 4 out of 5?
  10. Brewer fans are already coming up with an explanation.
  11. No doubt about that, it's just weird that a coach would release something damaging like that. I assume he has something of a personal/private relationship with Young. Maybe Young wanted him to release it. Most likely the guy just wanted his name in the press.
  12. 2012/2013 vs NL East - 32/32 vs NL West - 34/34 vs NL Central - 81/76 vs AL - 15/20 Basically, not much difference. We play the four remaining division opponents 19 times each in 2013. It was 17 (Brewers/Cardinals) and 16 (Pirates/Reds) last season. So, basically an extra series against each of them. Since 3 of the additional AL games are against Houston, it really didn't change the schedule much at all. Cubs played Houston 15 times last year. Four games instead of six against the White Sox. I'd be curious to see how this affects the other divisions in baseball year-to-year. Thanks!
  13. He's obviously an idiot, but what's up with his high school coach making that public? I'd say that relationship is dead.
  14. I've barely looked at the 2013 schedule, with the Astros no longer in the NL Central how were those extra games distributed? I see we're still doing a 3 game series against them.
  15. I wonder if they might get him to take a paycut and just be a returner? Would the players union allow him to do that?
  16. So now there's something wrong with punching Jordy Hulls in the face?
  17. Also, the refs were letting all sorts of things go last night. There were at least a half dozen personal fouls that could've been called for unsportsmanlike conduct. Headbutts, shoved officials, standing over players on the ground and taunting. They were really letting them get away with some [expletive].
  18. Jim Harbaugh's tantrums were the best part, what an insufferable douche. I was only 13 when he left the Bears in 93 but I don't remember him being that much of an ass clown as a player. Was he?
  19. Crean found a tanning booth in the basement and it blew a fuse.
  20. Amazing play
  21. the prosecution rests
  22. I wish Purdue sucked as bad as Kansas
  23. Just terrible body language, all game long. Bad call, look like you're going to cry. NU hits a shot, look like you're going to cry. Poor defense, shrug. Hit a nice shot, go down and act like you don't need to play defense.
  24. You have the same disease we do. Selfish undisciplined kids. Ok I can get onboard with that. But our big problem is not having a point guard, IMO. And we don't have a pure shooter other than Byrd. I'm so looking forward to Bryson Scott's attitude.
