  1. Going to Badger Senior day. Boiler Up.
  2. He does suck tonight.
  3. Purdue wonders why they have leadership issues. Terone Johnson has spent this whole game pouting to the referees, shrugging, and shaking his head. Stop being a bitch, Terone.
  4. TCU was a bigger underdog according to Vegas.
  5. Purdue and Iowa just played one of the worst first halves I've ever seen.
  6. How much is Big Handsome's draft stock falling?
  7. What did he do?
  8. I'm going to Syracuse / Marquette tonight. It's Pomeroy's FanMatch game of the day and I've never seen either team play in person. Kind of odd that I lived in Milwaukee for almost six years before going to a Marquette game.
  9. For those with MLB.tv it looks like there will be an HD Dodgers feed of today's game.
  10. Parks released his Top 101 this morning: #18 Almora #20 Baez #36 Soler #54 Vizcaino
  11. It's too bad MR isn't an IU basketball fan.
  12. Way to keep it under 30!
  13. That was joking post game trash talk, you guys should have beat us in West Lafayette, this is the worst Purdue team in years. Yes we should have. Had way too many calls go against us in the closing seconds for that to happen though. That's why I found it so ironic Painter got tossed against us. I believe he has history with the ref that tossed him.
  14. I agree whole heartedly with this. I think this relates to Illinois too though and I think there's a couple of UofI fans that are dangerously close to being in the looking-down-your-noses crowd. For sure. But I can tell you that personally, I haven't felt a whole lot of bluster about Illini hoops for a few years now. I think things are definitely headed in the right direction, but we haven't been very good for a while now. But homers will be homers, and we all have a few. That said, I'm not about to take any crap from Purdue fans (no offense). Which Purdue fan other than da bum, years ago, is giving you crap? I was defending Keady. There are a lot of Illini fans that mistakenly believe Illinois is a blue blood program. Purdue is a very solid program with good tradition. We've won a lot of games, a lot of B1G titles, and have had limited NCAA tournament success. You talked about bum bringing up titles and stats from the 50's and older. Since 1980: Final Fours Purdue 1, Illinois 2 Elite Eights Purdue 3, Illinois 4 Sweet Sixteens, Purdue 8, Illinois 8 B1G Titles, Purdue 7, Illinois 6 Big Ten Coach of Year, Purdue 10, Illinois 2 Big Ten Player of the Year, Purdue 3, Illinois 4 Consensus All Americans, Purdue 3, Illinois 1 (Brown did it twice though) Very recent history Purdue has dominated the series until this last game. Our programs have a lot more in common that you guys ever like to admit. Lots of tradition no title. Lol at the big ten coach of the year. You can wipe your butt with that one. So you cherry pick the least important line in the post. What about the rest of it?

  17. I agree whole heartedly with this. I think this relates to Illinois too though and I think there's a couple of UofI fans that are dangerously close to being in the looking-down-your-noses crowd. I'm not trying to be. I just like to take shots at Weber anyway I can. Just went with the Purdue angle to fire up Smack. You should've bad mouthed Robbie Hummel.
  18. You'll feel better about this after destroying us in Bloomington tomorrow.
  19. Obviously the number of stars a player gets isn't the end all in recruiting (Oladipo with 3, Trey Burke with 3, Anthony Johnson with 4 for example...) but from 2008 - 2011 Painter got only three 4-star players in four full recruiting classes including Anthony Johnson who still has time to improve but hasn't impressed so far. He got more than that this year alone. His last good class before this year was 5 years ago. Those gaps can't happen.
  20. I'm definitely concerned that he's lost this year's team. I would be more concerned if he didn't have the 2012 and 2013 recruiting classes. Six four star kids and Smotherman who has improved greatly this year. If you look at the stats since the B1G season began our freshmen are accounting for the majority of scoring, blocks, rebounds, assists, pretty much everything. There are usually 2-3 freshmen on the floor at a time and sometimes 4. He's suffering now for his failures in recruiting from 2009-2011.
  21. About what I was thinking. This all sounds so very familiar... I honestly wasn't around much during da bum's heyday so I'm no bum expert. All I can say is I'm posting facts to support my arguments. Thinking Keady is a coach that Purdue should be embarassed of somehow is just weird. He had success over an extended period of time in one of the toughest conferences in basketball. Never at any point did I say you should be embarrassed by him. I do think he was on the bubble a lot. Hence I said what I said about us being on the bubble recently. Good grief. Almost every coach in NCAA history has been on the bubble a lot 'or worse'. It's a fatuous statement. I'll ask the question again, how many coaches have had more tournament appearances than Keady? He had 18 as a head coach, I forgot his Western Kentucky appearance. Unless you're arguing that being in the Top 3 of the B1G is on the bubble, 13 of his 17 appearances at Purdue (76%) were not bubble appearances. Unless you're at a blue blood program making the tournament at the rate Keady did is very good.
  22. Don't you have some high school kids to harass on twitter?
