I don't see why. Purdue has improved quite a bit and is playing much better. It would have been pretty easy for them to quit on the season, it says a lot that they did not. No reason they should refuse to keep playing out of foolish pride. Painter openly said today that they would push for the CBI. I'm all for it as a fan, but we will get cracked on for being the first B1G team to do it. Hopefully we win two more and make the NIT, or four more.... 8-)

AJ Hammons and Ronnie Johnson are both in the top 10 all-time for points scored by a Purdue freshman. Rapheal Davis was just named B1G Freshman of the Week. Johnson is 2nd all time in assists by a Purdue freshman. Hammons is already 14th all-time at Purdue for career blocked shots. If they don't beat Nebraska and Ohio State they may become the first B1G program to accept an invite to the CBI tournament. Maybe that's 'embarassing' but they're playing their best basketball of the year right now so I'm all for more experience for the young guys.

IU had a title either way, kinda glad they won today. Don't have to listen to Michigan, OSU, and MSU fans crowing too. It's an added bonus that Crean freaks out after the game again too.

Well, it looks like Purdue got the good basketball out of their system in Madison.

Wisconsin had them pre-record their speeches so they wouldn't ramble or get nervous. The game ended and within 5 minutes the videos were playing on the scoreboard with each one probably in that 3-5 minute range. The whole process took like 30 minutes top with 5 Seniors.

Madison was great. State Street got the best of me Saturday night though and I spent the first half of the game trying not to get sick. So much better than Purdue's bar scene, of course that's true of pretty much everywhere. If was fun ruining Wisconsin's Senior Day and the Paint Crew made an appearance, I doubt you could hear them on ESPN but you could clearly hear them in the building. They would chant followed by the Wisconsin student section pointing at them and chanting back assholes repeatedly. Good times.
