  1. I would hate to trade Jennings at such a low value point. If I were you I would actually start Larry Johnson this week. Call me insane but he had a solid game last week and faces a bottom third run defense this week. I just can't see trading Jennings for a bye week replacement, he will rebound in that offense.
  2. I've got Benson, Forte, Westbrook in one league and I'm going with Benson and Forte. What's the rest of your team look like? You should trade some of that solid RB depth for an upgrade somewhere else!
  3. Everyone I know with Brees is worried about him this weekend. I don't know... the Giants have a good defense but they've played some pretty terrible teams. I'd stick with Brees over Manning.
  4. I'd play Colston.
  5. I would sit Ray Rice.
  6. If Hakeem Nicks is available I would grab him before Manningham. Manningham and Nicks were both grabbed by people above me in the waiver order. Looks like it's Maclin over Harvin and Knox.
  7. If it makes you feel better, the only 5-0 team in either of my leagues has the lowest point total of all 20 teams (10 per league). I know the Giants pass defense numbers are gaudy but they've faced 3 of the 5 worst teams in the league and Washington and the Cowboys aren't very good either. Saints are coming off the bye with a ton of weapons. I would start Brees if it were me, but Orton should do well this week too. I think you're picking between two strong options. I keep guessing wrong with Benson. I played him against Cleveland and he didn't do much, then benched him agains the Ravens and he went off. I think he's the safer pick against Houston, and Johnson (take out week 2 - against Houston - and he doesn't have a 100 yard game OR a touchdown) is the boom bust pick because he's got the speed to get a monster play or two that make his whole week. Again, picking between two good options but I probably go Benson if he doesn't have health concerns during practice this week. Hopefully I don't go 0-3 on Benson picks! Haha... I need 2 of these: Benson vs. HOU Forte @ ATL Westbrook @ OAK I'm leaning Forte/Benson... but I like Westbrook too... Also, for 3rd WR this week (need 1): Knox @ ATL Maclin @ OAK Harvin @ BAL edit: These guys are on the waiver wire so I could grabe one and drop one of the three guys above. Mike Wallace vs. CLV Mario Manningham @ NO Don't really know which way to lean here... Thanks!
  8. Agreed Seconded. Housh v. Jax Cotchery @ Mia Cotchery Even if Hasselbeck is back he'll still be walking wounded. I'm thinking Edwards will draw some coverage away from Cotchery helping him even more. Looks like Cotchery is probably out? Probably have to go Housh now unless you want to risk Cotchery's status.
  9. Rushing the field after beating an un-ranked opponent at home?
  10. Another terrible throw by Stanzi. That should have been 1st and Goal, or a TD. Instead he skipped it off the turf.
  11. Michigan +8 just turned into Michigan +15 in about 30 seconds.
  12. I like Manning more, over the course of the season.
  13. I like Bowe against the 30th ranked pass defense of Dallas. Manningham had the dropsies last week, Eli Manning is banged up, and the Giants will likely give Oakland double barrel running action. Burleson is one of many options for Seattle and, again, most likely a gimpy QB in Hasselbeck.
  14. I really like Garcon this week. I think Tennessee will keep Indy passing longer than St. Louis will keep Minnesota passing.
  15. I would go Cadillac simply because White has averaged only about six touches per game.
  16. Ah, I read that wrong. Why don't you try countering and include Portis or LJ instead of Jacobs?
  17. That would leave you with banged up Bowe as your top receiver along with banged up Eli Manning and possibly (depending on who you pick) banged up Welker. Edwards probably won't add much to your team in the near future but could be good down the stretch. If it was PPR I'd give the edge to Welker. I still probably would rather have Welker, but I really don't know what to expect out of Edwards. That's a high risk/high reward situation. He could continue sucking, or he could return to Pro Bowl form. While losing Andre Johnson would hurt, MJD is the best player in this trade, and you would be getting him. I'm also on the sell Favre while he's hot bandwagon - which will probably peak after the STL game this Sunday. Flacco has really stepped it up and playing the matchup game with him and Manning would be fine. MJD and Jacobs would be a nice RB tandem. Witten is considered a WR in your league? If so, Bowe (as Cassell progresses), Welker, Witten (best other matchup guy each week) would probably be ok.
  18. I'd go Smith and Bradshaw (if Smith plays). Just because Brown is splitting carries with Addai and Jones presumably would get more touches as the 'go to guy'. Neither one of those are great matchups. I'd go Calvin Johnson if he plays, if he doesn't I'd go Garcon. Tennesee is tied for dead last in the league against the pass.
  19. Agreed Seconded. Housh v. Jax Cotchery @ Mia Cotchery Even if Hasselbeck is back he'll still be walking wounded. I'm thinking Edwards will draw some coverage away from Cotchery helping him even more. Thanks guys, I was leaning towards Cotchery but Yahoo! has Housh projected to get about 2 pts more this week. I guess I should have thrown Ochocino into the discussion as well. He's traveling to Baltimore this weekend. Ochocinco is a must start, shockingly Baltimore is 25th against the pass. They can stop the run, but that's about its so far this season. Of course, it's fantasy so who the hell knows what's really going to happen! :D
  20. Agreed Seconded. Housh v. Jax Cotchery @ Mia Cotchery Even if Hasselbeck is back he'll still be walking wounded. I'm thinking Edwards will draw some coverage away from Cotchery helping him even more.
  21. I think this is a toss-up. I would probably go with Breaston myself, but you can make a case for either.
  22. Cedric Benson @ BAL Jerome Harrison @ BUF Leaning towards Harrison.
  23. So far this year Jackson has been worth more points, and Carolinas offensive suckitude scares me that Williams isnt going to have the year he had last year. Add in Jacksons punt returning skills also, and I dont see Williams as the much better player of the two. Eh, you're trading from your weaker position (RB) to add to your stronger position (WR). I would pass.
  24. Ok, another possibility popped up for me. JaMarcus Russel @ HOU Derek Anderson vs. CIN Yes, I know both are terrible options but I'm in a deep 2 QB league and Kurt Warner has his bye this week. The only other option would be Seneca Wallace if he starts this week or Josh Johnson for TB. There are no other starting QBs in our FA pool. On a side note, I have CIN's D so adding Anderson might be counter productive - but QBs are king in our league as TDs are 6 points for them. Matt Schaub is my other QB.
  25. Yeah, you can't pass up McFadden this week. I looked at my running back options, and I'm wavering a bit. I play 2: Jacobs @ KC Chris Johnson @ JAX Cedric Benson vs. CLE I'm wavering about Johnson, thinking of putting Benson in given that matchup. Am I crazy? Benson is the highest rated player at any position for ESPN this week, for what that's worth.
