  1. edit... drinking...
  2. Boise St. is getting raped by the refs.
  3. Stick around. When Illinois starts losing games this thread gets really entertaining. Almost as fun as watching Robbie Hummel tear an ACL. If you missed the first two guys don't worry he'll be back next year. Classy as usual.

  5. He's finally starting to look like an NBA player. Anyone know if Purdue actually has a shot at Amir Williams?
  6. NBA = terrible product. The officiating is a joke. I think I watched my one and only regular season Bulls game for the year.
  7. [expletive] you Jay Cutler and [expletive] you Lovie Smith. You both suck.
  8. Purdue is still going to be very good. Robbie Hummel isn't all that great. Tough loss, but I sitll think they can be a very, very good team. Hummel isn't that great? I'd say he was the best player on that team, and they don't have much depth. Correct. Purdue will still be good, but losing a guy like Hummel is a big blow to that team. I'm really hoping Sandi Marcius can fill the void somewhat, although he's not going to be the outside threat that Hummel was. That's going to have to come from someone like D.J. Byrd. We know what we've got with JJ and Moore. In my opinion, DJ Byrd is going to make or break this season. Byrd or maybe Terone Johnson has to be the third option. Everyone knows JJ is going to be doubled and Moore will get plenty of attention too. Barlow isn't a good enough shooter, and I don't really expect much out of the new big guys (Marcius/Carroll) their first year.
  9. Classy. I wouldn't count on Purdue going back to mediocrity anytime soon. Oh, has Painter been recruiting another super class that nobody knows about? Because otherwise, yeah they are in for a bit of a slide. If by 'super class' you mean four star recruit after four star recruit, then yes. Purdue will have the same number of four star recruits on the roster next year as they did last year. Maybe it's more about coaching ability? Could be? Cool story bro. :good: Great response! Maybe they'll be able to finish in 5th or 6th place this year. They're certainly no match for IU.

  11. How many four star SG's does Purdue really need? Byrd (2009), Johnson (2010), Davis (2012)?

  13. The Jets are surprisingly giving up more fantasy points to opposing QB's than the Chiefs. I think Revis may be out again too. I think they're pretty equal, I would go Orton because I'm a Purdue homer and like cheering for him. I would go with Jennings at WR if Rodgers starts and with Williams (TB) if Rodgers doesn't start. I would go with Mathews against STL at RB. I think this is his 'breakout' week. Any thoughts on Big Ben vs. Joe Flacco this week? Obvious answer is Ben, but it's his first game back. Will he be rusty? Should I count on him to roll anyway because it's a bad Cleveland team he's facing?
  14. I think Taylor has the most upside of those guys. I'm thinking, eventually, the Bears will discover that he is better than Forte. Who knows though, it is the Bears.
  15. I like Royal this week, he'll be getting the nickel back.
  16. He should be a matchup based flex guy. I'm pretty high on Tolbert as my flex play on a weekly basis though.
  17. I just traded Ryan Mathews and Marion Barber for Ray Rice and BenJarvus Green-Ellis. Any thoughts? Good deal????? I have AP and Rice as my 1/2 RB's now and it's a 12 team league. BenJarvus/Tolbert/Mike Bell/Rashad Jenningas as my RB depth.
  18. Marshawn Lynch to Seattle for a 4th round pick per Schefter.
  19. Isn't Logan Mankins available?
  20. Is that the single game record?
  21. Bears offense, agreed. D looked good.
  22. My heart goes out to the women in Wisconsin who are receiving terrible beatings as we speak.
  23. The real debate is whether an undefeated Boise St. team plays in the national championship over a 1 loss BCS conference school though, right? Yes. Nobody I've seen thinks they should jump an undefeated Alabama or Ohio State team. Odds are that neither of those teams go undefeated.
  24. Eh, I'm not going to argue with you anymore. The selection committee will [expletive] both Boise St. and TCU again this year anyway. Probably make them play each other. Again.
  25. Dude, are you an Oregon State fan or something? Only an idiot can't see that Boise State isn't a very very good team. When did I say that? I'm saying they shouldn't sniff the national title game because they haven't played any one. There's a pretty big difference and only an idiot wouldn't see that. Who has more wins over ranked opponents than Boise St. this year? In the last two years they've beaten teams ranked #3, #6, #14, #24. Oh, yeah, and they're still on a winning streak. Texas just got smoked at home. Oklahoma almost lost to a reeling Cincy team. Oregon is down 24-14 right now. It can't end up Alabama/Florida for obvious reasons. Boise St. has won repeatedly on the national stage including two BCS games in the last three years. The hate is amusing. I hope they win the national championship to shut everyone up. Hell, they could beat an undefeated Alabama team and people would bitch. They have one win over the 23 ranked team in the country (and that team has a losing record). The other stuff is irrelevant because it has nothing to do with this year. I don't have an issue with Boise but they shouldn't be in the title game. In order to be in the title game you have to be in the top 2 in the nation and in order to be considered in the top 2 you have to beat good teams. James freaking Madison beat Virginia Tech by more than Boise did for god's sake. You really think this team should be in national championship talk? It matters because it's almost all the same players as last year. How many starters did they lose? 1, and he was a first round draft pick (giving you an idea of their talent level). Their body of work is impressive. I'm a Big Ten guy but I'm not a homer.
