Dude, are you an Oregon State fan or something? Only an idiot can't see that Boise State isn't a very very good team. When did I say that? I'm saying they shouldn't sniff the national title game because they haven't played any one. There's a pretty big difference and only an idiot wouldn't see that. Who has more wins over ranked opponents than Boise St. this year? In the last two years they've beaten teams ranked #3, #6, #14, #24. Oh, yeah, and they're still on a winning streak. Texas just got smoked at home. Oklahoma almost lost to a reeling Cincy team. Oregon is down 24-14 right now. It can't end up Alabama/Florida for obvious reasons. Boise St. has won repeatedly on the national stage including two BCS games in the last three years. The hate is amusing. I hope they win the national championship to shut everyone up. Hell, they could beat an undefeated Alabama team and people would bitch.

I would go with Donald Brown. As for the receivers... you got some lottery tickets there... I would go with Garcon if he plays, if not, I'd try Murphy.

Need a RB2 and a Flex. Ryan Mathews/Mike Tolbert @ SEA (depending on who starts - likely Tolbert) - think this will be my RB2 So likely for the flex Fred Taylor vs. Buffalo Marion Barber @ Houston Fred Jackson @ New England (BenJarvus is on the waiver wire if I want him) Mike Williams (TB) vs Pittsburgh Mike Thomas vs. Philly (everyone is saying this guy is better than Sims-Walker?) I'm leaning Tolbert/Barber.... bot considering Mike Thomas and Fred Taylor to replace Barber...

I would hang onto Favre for now. Sanchez is not good (despite last week). So I've been hanging onto Vincent Jackson in both of my leagues. Time to cut him loose after he didn't get traded by the deadline today?

I think Moreno is the way to go and Palmer/Eli is a tossup. Of course, I was cold on Best last week so maybe you should go Brandon Jackson, heh.

Fred Taylor plays the Jets so that eliminates him. Barber-Williams is a pretty tough call. I would go Barber at home. The Bears looked really good at stopping the run last week, albeit against the Lions. Who knows if its a fluke, but when the Bears were a dominant defense a few years ago they were much more effective against the run. Thanks for the feedback guys, I thought Taylor was playing the Bengals for some reason... yeah, I won't start him against the Jets.

I've got him in one league (I picked #2 and he slipped to me at the #2 pick in the 3rd round - got AP and Miles Austin 1/2). I'm feeling bad about Greene right now too. The Jets sure seemed in love with Tomlinson last night.

2QB League... for my second QB do I go Stafford against the Bears or Jason Campbell against the Titans? Yahoo says not to start Campbell because of the Titans 'veteran D'. Wtf? The Titans were 31st against the pass last year? I would like to start Campbell over Stafford so I'm not cheering for Stafford and the Bears at the same time. Any thoughts?

Haha, you need a life? I went to the Packers scrimmage, and I'm a Bears fan! Haha that is awesome. It was like what? 5 bucks? It was $10, plus fees and such. I spent far more on beer than I did on the ticket. Went with my girlfriend's dad. He's a cool guy, even if he is a Packer fan. Fireworks were pretty cool afterwords too.

Purdue is primed for their best season in a very long time (if everyone stays healthy this time around). It's tough to get all worked up about Dawson. Painter has recruited well enough to get them to within an inch of being #1 overall in the country last year. We've got two very nice guards coming in this year (Terone/Anthony Johnson). Apparently Bade (6' 8") worked really hard in the offseason and will resemble a D1 player this year. I liked what I saw from Byrd (6' 5") in limited time at the end of the year. Barlow (6' 5") is a terrific athlete if he can stay smart on the court. Sandi Marcius (6' 9" 260lbs of him) and Travis Carroll (6' 9" 250) join the team this year. Throw in the obvious Moore, Hummel, Johnson, LewJack and this is the deepest Purdue team that I can remember. If anything I'm optimistic about our future.

He's got some weird ties to Indiana. I think he went to Culver Military Academy. He also has some ties to Columbus OH, that's why the Clippers were the AAA team for so long. He was an assistant football coach at Purdue for a bit. Culver would make sense for him. I wasn't aware he was an assistant at Purdue until earlier today. -
