    This is [expletive] stupid! But ofcourse it will work out immensly and the team will win so our piece of [expletive] GM and Manager can be retained. This is by far the stupidest thing I have ever seen a team do... If I didnt love baseball I would not turn another game on this year.     Cruz and Callaspo for Theriot, Grabow, prospect and cash Dreaming.... Please! Something along those lines would be not a blockbuster but a decent move. Not necessarily that exact offer. I would also check price tag on frasior, gregorson, cruz by himself, downs,maybe check with baltimore and maybe Bell but he will be too expensive.

    Castro, Cashner, Jackson(s), Vitters, Lee should all be in the untouchable category. IF something is needed use Flaherty, Burke and other B prospects to net a reliever if needed.

    Wells is a very good pitcher, he may not be a career 3.05 ERA guy but mid 3 ERA and double digit wins is something he can definitely do..

    I doubt it, the media loves it some crappy white guy who hustes. Not as much as they like a good story and something they can latch onto when questioning the manager/GM. Bingo

    I was pulling for Demp as well but right when he went back out I told my brother I have seen this movie before.... Dempster is a good pitcher for 100-105 pitches but he generally loses his control after that, he has been stretched into 7 or 8 innings many times and has put people on base right away. However, to me the true mis-management was with the lineup. The game was not 5-0 it was 2-0 so why in the HELL would Soto be taken out? Also I am fine with the defensive replacement for one of Nady or Soriano but those 2 should not have both been replaced. Overrall I am not worried I have seen Ramirez with a ton of chances to help this team in the first 2 weeks and he hasnt. If there is a constant with this team it is Ramirez and he will get going to help this team into a winstreak.
