    For some reason I think Castro will show his power earlier. Not expecting 20 homers or anything but I would not be shocked if he hits 8-10 this year and next.

    DJ has a really nice short compact swing. If he can get his power numbers into the 10-15 range he could be a very solid mlb regular.

    I will always root for Mark Prior, I really hope he can atleast have a career as a reliever, the guy deserves that much.

    Yes, but Lucas Oil is a football-only stadium, isn't it? I have no knowledge of the dimensions of the place or anything, but I do know that when the Dodgers played in the LA Colosseum for a few years there were some crazy dimensions (something like 270 down each line and 510 to CF or something like that) so that probably wouldn't be the best idea. I wouldn't be opposed to a team in Indy, however, if they could get a new stadium for it. I am really not sure of dimensions but when I was there it looked absolutely huge on the field level... I could be wrong though.

    Indianapolis would be a great city for a team. Not a "huge" city but should be enough of a following and would pull from OH, KY, IL and MI. They support the hell out of their AAA team. Lucas Oil is already there with retractable roof..... hmmm

    Why would he care about candy if he's pitching in a game? I lol'd the better question is what's erik's toddler doing on a pitching mound at that age? My question was why is erik the one who gets to decide if Carlos gets candy?

    Wow, this makes things really interesting. The Cubs now arguably have the best "Overall" pitching staff adding in bullpen. Rotation stacks up nicely with the Cards and if Greinke is more similar to last season than the season before they stack up to the Brewers as well. I just got more excited for this season.

    I have no problem with this, put the issue to rest and put aside the distraction of Z not getting bombarded by opening day starter questions. I do believe Quade is smarter than most, he commented on really wanting Z against the Brewers @ Miller in the 7th game of the season, i agree with letting Demp hopefully carve up the DBacks and letting Z take on the Crew.

I love Marlon's attitude but if he OPS's .685 in the second half again this offense will have some issues as he will be hitting near the top of the order. I do believe the Cubs are being undersold though. According to majority of the media Ramirez cannot hit anymore, Pena is going to hit about .210, the cubs 4th and 5th starters will suck, and there is no hope at all for Baker/DeWitt platoon to be productive. I just cannot wait to get the season going to see what is really here.

    I will alwys root for Zambrano to succeed, I personally hope he finishes his career as a Cub. It sucks he was jerked around by Lou and it sucks that he is overpayed but that is not Zambrano's fault it is Hendry's.

    Got 4 for Sunday night, RF bleachers.. Will have to find a way to get my hands on one more.

    I got 4 RF bleacher tix to the Sunday night game, cannot wait! Still in need of 1 more ticket as a buddy is coming with but I am thinking of just getting an SRO ticket. Hotels are slim pickens but was able to use my points to get 2 nights at the Harborside airport hotel.
