  1. All five Colts offensive linemen were somewhere between "puke" and "mediocre" by PFF. If the Bears defensive line can't get through that...
  2. The Jets cut half of their 2012 draft.
  3. If Andrew Luck picks apart the Bears defense in his first professional game then they may as well get his HOF plaque ready.
  4. O'Brien looks anguished.
  5. Strasburg is down to his last few starts. The firestorm will be fun to watch.
  6. Yes, very wrong apparently. Now I'm trying to figure out how that myth has become so perpetuated.
  7. Isn't Crawford on the DL? I thought players on the DL couldn't be traded.
  8. I didn't realize Beckett was only getting $31 million over the next two seasons. I know he's way into fried chicken and stuff, but there's a really good chance he's still a 4-win pitcher. Boston would be crazy to abandon him.
  9. Tebow throws ball into garbage can from 25 yards away. ESPN wonders how impressive it is on a scale of 1-10
  10. So Skip goes overboard for Tebow because they're both white?
  11. Poolie has quietly put together good counting stats, but it's disappointing to see him stop walking.
  12. Detroit by eleventy in Week 1.
  13. I feel ESPN should be cutting into every at-bat by either McCutchen or Trout. It's stunning what's happening here.
  14. This is the most pompous [expletive] I've ever heard.
  15. To the Cardinals I hope. EDIT: Twitter seems to think Boston for Ryan Sweeney.
  16. You said "many thought Felix could be had for Craig." Nobody said this. Fat Strat said he would want the Cardinals to give up Craig for Felix straight up, the obvious implication here being that the Cardinals cannot afford to gut their system and trade one of their most valuable chips for a pitcher making $39 million over the next two seasons. Nothing you just posted supports your point that anyone thinks the Cardinals can get Felix for a lesser package.
  17. The gist here is that the Cardinals have a $110 million budget and parting with Allen Craig + their best prospects to pay Felix Hernandez almost one-fifth of it would be highly irresponsible. Nobody seriously thinks the Mariners would do that; it's just the limits the Cardinals would go.
  18. None of this was said. At all. Here was the only comment on it: That's completely reasonable from a Cardinals standpoint.
  19. I grew up in a poor rural community and in my class I think at least 10 kids had Jordan jerseys. I was one of them. We worshipped him and thought "Space Jam" was amazing.
  20. This thread made me wonder how in the world Murton, who at least had the ability to hit 10 home runs, is out of baseball and Skip Schumaker is gainfully employed and regularly starting.
  21. I don't think the package for a starter with a 4.37 FIP begins and ends with the top-hitting prospect in baseball.
  22. Orlando doesn't care; they just want the cap relief.
  23. Yowza, that would be an elderly Lakers team, but very formidable.
