  1. That must be some sweet cash.
  2. How long until Tennessee is telling Dan Hawkins that the job is his if he wants it? Not very, right?
  3. It would depend on the group. Like I said, I'd trade four years of a lot of guys for last season's Kentucky team.
  4. Absolutely. Great point.
  5. I get that, and your first point was an angle I didn't consider, mostly because Missouri would never get someone of that caliber. However, I do think guys who are clearly so far ahead of the curve that they would otherwise make a mockery of college competition should go as soon as possible.
  6. I get that the system is screwy and one-and-done players cheapen the sanctity of collegiate athletics. But, If you watched Kentucky last year and wouldn't trade your favorite school's roster for that one you are lying. Also, why would a non-fan of whatever team Calipari is coaching be upset that his mercenaries leave for the NBA?
  7. Somebody with actual ties to Missouri might know more details, but I thought I read there was a substantial amount of money to be made by making the leap.
  8. This is going to be a rough one, from the games I watched there's no PG and Cal's offense relies on that. There's no flow to this group nor a true scorer. This is the price they pay for being a one and done team. If the price to pay is winning lots and lots of games, making it to the Final Four, winning a national championship and getting to cheer for players like John Wall, Anthony Davis, MKG and I suppose Nerlens Noel, then I want to pay that price.
  9. Is there a receiver in the draft in the mold of say, a Brandon Lloyd?
  10. Absolutely nothing. They are going to get massively exposed on January 7.
  11. "The Heart of Dallas Bowl"??
  12. Alabama was up 20 with 21 minutes to play at home. I never said they would stop trying, but what's Ole Miss' win probability after that touchdown?
  13. Are ratings for Baltimore/Pittsburgh higher than other games? I can't understand how CBS otherwise determines this a national game, especially with Charlie Batch playing.
  14. What a bizarre game.
  15. You're just pulling things out of the air now. Oh? They were up by 31 and 27 when they gave up touchdowns to Michigan. They were up 20 when they gave up one of two touchdowns to Ole Miss. They were up 28 on Missouri, 17 on Tennessee and 38 against Mississippi State. You don't think the situation of the game affected the way their defense played?
  16. Even if we chuck Alabama's obviously lesser opponents out the window, the Tide's defense gave up 13 points per game. Does anyone honestly believe that Notre Dame's defense is better because Alabama gave up a handful of touchdowns when they were up by 20-30 points?
  17. What is in the DNA of Irish fans that make them so overly sensitive about having ND be the butt of jokes?
  18. I was thinking "swat it away, swat it away." Bad decision to catch it, but Murray casually approaching the situation like he did was far more egregious.
  19. I can't believe they didn't spike it.
  20. This is going to be anticlimactic.
  21. Baylor is about to win and pretty handily.
