  1. Lol @ Ron Washington's reaction to the runs. What a boss.
  2. FODDER! *waits for inevitable stoning from Packers fans*
  3. Danieal Manning has a broken leg.
  4. Fun Fact: The Bears also went into the bye week last year at 4-3. We should be almost completely healthy by the Philly game. Sanzenbacher isn't playing horrible, but Bennett will be an obvious upgrade at the slot position if/when he gets healthy. We're in decent shape right now.
  5. I was trailing my fantasy game by 74 points with Brees, Colston, Ingram, and Kasay left. I won by 5. Thank you Saints. And Colts for being so horrendous.
  6. Remember when people wanted Chester Taylor to replace Forte as the starter?
  7. Lol @ Lions players starting crap with the Falcons during warmups. Things were much better when they won 3 or less games a year.
  8. The talk is the Bears did the doubtful thing with Peppers as payback for the Vikings doing it with Favre last year. While this is awesome, them doing it so the Vikings would gameplan for Melton instead of Peppers is probably more likely.
  9. So Peppers was doubtful last week and played, while Bennett and Wright were probable this week and will not play. Who is filling out the Bears' injury reports?
  10. Seems to be conflicting reports about Bennett. I heard from more than one source around Wednesday that he was out, yet the Bears website has him listed as probable and acts like he'll play.
  11. Haha, if the Cubs win it all in 2012 the end of the world buzz will surely get out of hand for a couple months, that is until December 21st uneventfully passes of course. Please do it though.
  12. Is McNutt a 1st-rounder? He definitely has NFL size and speed.
  13. I'll probably get stoned for saying this but I wouldn't mind taking a look at TO. He is supposedly 100% ready to go. He put up almost 1000 yards last year and can still crank out a monster game here and there. With the bye next week we could get him pretty well acclimated before the MNF game in Philly. I doubt the Bears would ever do it because they see TO as a huge distraction, even though Lance Briggs is being a bigger distraction right now than TO would ever be should he join. Performance-wise, I don't see him doing worse than any of our current receivers.
  14. Couple the fact that this game is at a neutral site with the fact that both of these teams seem to be very similar in talent, and this one is pretty much up in the air. I think whoever wins the turnover battle takes it.
  15. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tW1tIpE95kc
  16. I'm fairly certain that if you wait to see how this game plays out, you will no longer be able to trade him this season. Read above.
  17. Edit: Nvm, forgot about the trade deadline.
  18. I know GB is amazing, but let's not chalk that up as a sure loss. Chances are they'll have HFA locked up by Week 16.
  19. If Gould makes his next three FGs he'll take over as the most accurate kicker of all-time.
  20. I'm pretty sure I read that the Bears aren't leaving until Thursday, therefore I have to think the Bucs have the advantage by leaving Monday. This game could potentially have very large wild card implications for the Bears. I still say the Saints win the South, so that would make the Bucs their biggest competition for the 6th seed as it stands right now. I haven't given up hope of catching the Lions yet either. We're two games behind them with one head-to-head game left. Plus they still have two games with GB.
  21. They always have? I hadn't heard of this until tonight. When Hester returned that punt against Minnesota last December at TCF, they made a big deal about how he was now the all-time leader in return TDs. Obviously we know now they meant kick/punt returns. Tonight was his first kick return for a TD since 2007. From then until now they have all been punts.
  22. Several guys had great games, but Chris Williams was a monster tonight. Hopefully this line combo can stick. Oh I noticed they said something about how Hester's 17 total return TDs are second to Deion Sanders' 19. Are they really counting interception returns? Really?
  23. It was only so that you could prove your point about Cutler.
  24. no So I assume these measures are to be taken as truth and QB Rating as lesser truth. QB rating has its flaws, and you can find plenty of criticism on those other stats as well. Bottom line is there isn't really one system that takes absolutely every factor into account, so I guess you'll believe what you want to.
  25. Oh god you're going by QBR aren't you?
