  1. I got em' all except the dude between Brown and Briggs. Major Wright?
  2. Probably, but I'm a little surprised they didn't just bring Jenkins back, who was solid last year and cheaper.
  3. Of course not, but it's still why they're in. I would have left them out as well.
  4. Tulsa beat 5 tournament teams and SMU. Sure nobody had them in, but it's not hard to understand where the committee was coming from.
  5. yyuuuuppppp....massive upgrade. I mean I really don't want to be picky about where we upgrade our talent since we need it everywhere, but I want a S and a DL (or two) before more decent money to a ILB. Relax, we're getting Hicks today.
  6. An Iowa fan really let me have it back in late January when UNI was 10-11 and Iowa had just risen to #3 in the country. I'm sure they're still better than us, but my god how things have changed.
  7. Megatron officially retires.
  8. I couldn't figure out why so many people were making Matt Murton jokes until I googled him. Seriously what the horsefeathers.
  9. you can't complain about quality and base it on ihop. Separate thoughts.
  10. No syrup for me either, on any of the three. Sweetness overkill. Half a stick of butter instead. Assuming all three at their best, I'd probably give a slight nod to French toast, but I've also had more terrible French toast than terrible waffles or pancakes. It pisses me off when places like IHOP advertise French toast and it ends up being a stuffed fritter/donut underneath syrup and powdered sugar. That is not French toast. Waffles are a very close second, but not Belgian style. Prefer the smaller dimple kind (Waffle House) with at least 3/4ths of the dimples filled with butter. Try it sometime.

  12. Anybody here interested in tanking 2016 for Watson?
  13. Big fan of promoting a guy Cutler already loves/trusts. Jay, Jeffery, and White are better than anything he had to work with in Tennessee, so we'll see. Not a sexy hire, but a pretty safe one in that I trust him to keep Jay playing the smart football he played this year.
  14. They need to put ON their Sunday shoes, not kick them off.
  15. I read somewhere that Cutler hand-picked Loggains himself to be his QB coach, and a lot are saying he deserved more credit for Jay's turnaround than Gase did. Now, none of that means he can be a competent OC, his first go-around in Tennessee was pretty bad. But I think I'm willing to give him another crack since it was Tennessee and very few coaches would have had success with the cast of players they had in 2012-13. Also, Fox said pretty soon after the season ended that Cutler (and the rest of the offense) wouldn't be learning a new offense/system other than a few tweaks. Whisenhunt was never going to come here and run someone else's system. It was going to be Loggains the entire time.
  16. Looks a lot like Patton Oswalt to me.
  17. Torn ACL and MCL for Jaylon Smith. Damn that sucks.
  18. First Calvin, then AP in a couple years, and Rodgers a few years after that.
  19. I had no idea Bob Babich was still around. He ranks right up there with Tucker.
  20. Already have 9 picks (granted 3 will be in the 200 range) and I'm not sure he drops much past 11 if at all. If you like him, take him there. Fine with me. Getting a top 5 talent at #11 sounds like a plan. There's no way in hell Pace gambles on two straight years of his first-round pick not playing his rookie season. Some other team picking between 10 and 20 who can afford to be patient on such a player will grab him. I'd be shocked if he falls far enough that we could trade back up and get him later, but would be all for doing so if that happens.
  21. [tweet] [/tweet] Nice to hear Pace say this. I recall him and Fox being pretty non-committal about Jay when they arrived.
  22. Agree with this list, although I'd probably swap out Floyd with Shaq Lawson, traditionally a 4-3 end but think he'd be fine as a 5-tech. I wouldn't necessarily hate Floyd at 11 though, even if he is old as [expletive].
  23. Agree, fine with Forte coming back if he takes a discount, but seems unlikely. I actually prefer him and Langford as a 1-2 than I do either of them as a workhorse.
  24. Most mocks that have come out this morning have us taking Jack or Ragland with the 11th pick. Rather have Tunsil/Stanley, obviously, but both are likely gone before 11. I'd like to see them tag Jeffery, trade Bennett, and let Forte walk. Re-sign Porter, Jenkins, Zach Miller, one of Shea/Acho, and Thompson for KR. Also of note, one of the mocks has us passing on Lynch and him going to Philly at 13. I think it's a draft or two too early to find our next QB, but I also can't say I'd hate letting him play behind Jay for a year or two.
  25. While I stand by the decision to trade him 100%, it appears that Brandon Marshall did, in fact, not decline. He goes to the playoffs for the first time if NY doesn't crap the bed against Buffalo next week. He's the first player in history with six 100-catch seasons, working on what is likely a HOF career. Good for him.
