    As much as the Cubs have angered me to no end (this season especially) I can't even imagine rooting for someone else.

    KFAN up in Minneapolis was saying the rumor was the Cubs wanted Slama and Delaney in the trade. Delaney is a good talent but the Twins might not want to give him up.

    Soriano's contract sucks and he's not consistent.

    It's going to be easier to win the division than the Wild Card. Frankly, I don't see the Cubs doing either. They have not been consistent enough as a team to be a playoff team. Injuries, slumps, bad luck, Jim Hendry...you name it and it's happened this year. Get ready for football boys and girls because the playoff streak is over I fear.

    Samardzija should have stuck with football, but only the Cubs are dumb enough to open their wallets for him. What a bust he is and it's not too early to say it. That Kevin Hart trade was awesome wasn't it? :( The Cubs are screwed in the starting pitching department now and that was their strength. God I hate this season with a passion. So many thinks to be pissed about.

    I think Lou hangs it up if the Cubs don't make the playoffs. His fire is gone and he seems like the end is near. I'm all for Brenly to become the new manager. As far as GM I just want Hendry gone. After the ARam deal he hasn't impressed me at all and this season was a epic fail on his end. This team was built to fail in 2009 mainly because of Jimbo. Run him no matter what.

    The schedule's not going to get any easier. The Phillies....the Dodgers are on the horizon next week. They have a 10 game stretch of playing St. Louis, Milwaukee and San Francisco on the road in September. ](*,)

    Hopefully Lou is the one getting canned If the Cubs don't make the post-season, I think Lou will hang it up. Hendry is the one I want canned no matter what.

    Jim Hendry did a fine job this offseason. Injuries aside he put together a mount of suck this season.

    Fukudome can frustrate the hell out of you at times, but when he's on he's on. His defense is always there also.

    ESPN needs to do a documentary on Alex Gonzalez since he's the reason the flood gates were allowed to open when he botched that possible DP ball. It was a sure one out. That play still pisses me off to this day. :evil:
