  1. Weird question: is there a reason for J-Hey to not at least try to throw home, I.e the guy trips going home?
  2. This is totally not factual but it seems we have so many plays at the plate.
  3. Well, probably should have scored a run but the dude is an elite pitcher and likely has done that plenty of times. Still sucks, though.
  4. Since the Pirates series there have been several outings where the Cubs have jacked up the pitch count early again.
  5. There is something worse. Imagine Dempster visiting the same inning. Dempster is awesome, you monster He's a good guy, for sure.

  7. Actually the way Ding Dong is saying it, it's not nearly 100 percent. It IS 100 percent. At least back off on that, Ding Dong. he said near zero percent, so it's not quite 100% Oops. Read it wrong. My bad. Sorry, Ding Dong.

  9. Agree with everything. Except Willson having good wheels. Is that true? I assume he's still more slow than fast. he's definitely not slow But he for sure doesn't have wheels. Faster than most catchers? Hell yes. But wheels? I guess I'd need to see some times.
  10. uh what is this nonsense, now? you said you would have screamed if he sent him. the way that play unfolded, there's a near zero percent chance of him scoring. it was a dumb send That's not fair to say 0 chance. There is a 5 percent chance alone the catcher drops it. (Percentage just made up but you know what I'm saying.)
  11. And, please, no matter what Almora does to start off the inning here's a reminder that it doesn't matter.
  12. yes. he's got a cannon for an arm, the ball was hit pretty sharply, and he was playing shallow. nothing about that says there's a decent shot at scoring. 2 outs, Contreras has good wheels, and the ball was not hit all that sharply(or at the very least, caught the SS's glove). The odds of scoring there are way higher than the AVG/OBP of the next hitter. Agree with everything. Except Willson having good wheels. Is that true? I assume he's still more slow than fast.
  13. Easy, my friend. Let's just focus on them winning this one first.
  14. The umpire for sure helped change the inning in our favor.
