Help my memory. Didn't Jansen throw like 50 pitches, have a day off, then threw two innings and then the next day three innings against us? I think I'm crazy.

Not with the Indians running like they do. Javy looks lost at the plate, but he's still money with his tagging. Plus, Schwarb's bat will be back. Exactly. To say Javy is worthless is to not recognize that he very well could have helped save this game tonight with that tag of Lindor. It sucks to see him suck at the plate, but he ain't worthless.

Proud of this club. First World Series in 71 years. Got to see that first World Series win in 71 years. Then got to see the first World Series win at Wrigley Field in 71 years. Proud that even though the odds are stacked against them they responded exactly the way they have all season and made this a respectable series no matter what.

I'm the opposite. I don't care if it doesn't work, Chapman needs to be on the mound and nobody else. This is why you acquire him in July. For this right here. If he does his job, we didn't need another run.

This might be the final time for me to look like an idiot for the 2016 season, but I think Chapman is about to have such a smooth inning that you will forget you ever thought this.

This is crazy. Unless you are Dorthy or somebody who remembers 1945, this is like the biggest game we have ever known. Until we win, and then Game 6 will be. Then Game 7.

That's crazy, Cusack has been going to games forever. Agreed. But I think some people think he's also a White Sox guy. Or maybe I'm dreaming that.

The Cubs have some cool celebrity fans. I like that Bill Murray and Eddie are in that group. I also like John Cusack and Vince Vaughn, although I think some think Cusack is a bandwagon guy. Anyway, back to the game.

Against LA he got 2 outs before the Gonzalez single, which would be an acceptable outcome here. Agreed.

I feel off memory that when Chap comes in with guys on he always gets the first out but then gives up a hit. Let's hope I'm remembering wrong.

I realize it's just a coincidence, but this is like the Dodgers thing all over again. Some poster starts getting out of hand, either gets banned or is about to get banned...............and everything turns for the better. Like in a blink of an eye. That, and when Tim calls the board ninnies the Cubs are 92-0.

Here's a story I'm embarrassed about because it makes me a bad fan: I want the Cubs to win the World Series and I will be disappointed if they don't. So in order to make myself better deal with them possibly losing I went and signed up at Bovada after the series was tied 1-1. I figured I would be more than happy to pay $600 for the Cubs to win the Series, but if they didn't, I'd at least get $1,400 to cry with. But my credit card wouldn't go through, I think because it's not set up for international charges maybe since Bovada is in Canada. So the Cubs might end up losing the World Series and I will have nothing to cry with. That's what I get for being a mentally weak fan. Not sure why I'm sharing this, but I felt guilty and maybe by not living a lie the Cubs will start winning or something.
