I still mostly request to be woken up for the playoffs, though I took some Ambien and have probably been sleep walking at times. smdh... not getting into the Hall of Fame after admitting to taking performance-enhancing drugs. By the time David hangs it up, performance-enhancing drug users will have already been let in. He is likely first ballot.

David and Duker are superstars, the Bryzzo of this board. But even they aren't always right and would likely tell you so. Duke had us winning 117 games and David requested to be woken up for the playoffs because regular season games weren't going to matter. Still, they are likely first ballot Hall of Famers. Just shows you how hard baseball takes can be sometimes.

In this scenario you just painted, Kyle not striking out just isn't productive enough.

They are 13th in baseball in wRC+ and 10th in wOBA. In the second half that becomes 4th in wRC+ and 5th in wOBA. I saw a tweet yesterday that they are the worst team in baseball at scoring a run with a man on third and less than two outs. Which might not mean anything but still means they are the worst at that particular part of the game.

The Cubs statistically really suck at that this year. If they could just be slightly below average it would be huge.

This won't be a popular opinion, but I think Q will be fine and people will applaud this trade again, perhaps even by the end of this game.
