I was just coming to post and ask if it's wrong of me to ask if Almora didn't need to catch the ball like that, and I feel like now it wasn't wrong of me to want to ask.
I'm gonna meatball and say the rumors + his season line have gotten to his head. His throws are looking horsefeathers too. If it makes you feel better, his throws have always looked like crap.
Ohhhhh, nice. Now that we've used weather, fatigue, too many off days, KB and Rizzo being injured, etc., I will have something new to use if we again crap the bed.
They really need to just allow a run. All this is doing is killing the bullpen. Although at least we’d have another excuse to be able to use now that the weather no longer is 35 degrees and our offense still sucks balls.
We ain't scoring again this game. Let's just give up a run this inning, save the rest of the bullpen, and actually try to take advantage of playing the Marlins this time.
Good stuff. Thanks. Part of, but not all of, the reason is probably KB/Rizzo both missing 5+ games each since they are 2 of the biggest drivers in the team BB numbers. What's crazy is Rizzo has gone the last 13 games without a walk.
Team BB rate is about 2% lower than 2017 and 16, so yeah that’s a little low. We were at about 4 BB a game last two years and just a tick over 3 this year. Good stuff. Thanks.
