I think he just uses the board to vent. He goes over the top and is a villain in the eyes of some here, but he really does appear to be a big Cubs fan and just needs to write his feelings down. Like, he's not hoping they lose, he instead desperately wants them to win. That Dodgers comeback wasn't very quality, though, but I really believe he knows that.

It wasn't pretty. It didn't feel good for a good amount of time. But I like wins. I really like those ninth inning comeback wins. They feel good.

Not only would both fan bases take the Cubs last three years and two months over the Dodgers, but both fan bases want our closer right now, too.

Just realized Addy has really improved over his first few seasons on not throwing his bat into the stands.

The team that absolutely destroyed us in the NLCS last year? This just isn't a great comeback. Because, really, both fan bases would take our last three years over their last three years and both would take our year this year so far, too.

We won the World Series in 2016. I only ever really dreamed of winning one. I never wished for two or even thought about it.

All eight pitches weren't in the zone. That's pretty cool.

The rankings have us at third best in UZR and DRS. 1) We're used to 2016, so watching them play like horsefeathers sticks out more than it would when other teams suck. Our expectations are different. They haven't played as well as they should. 2) By errors, they've been below average. So they have kinda sucked. 3) They rate really well in range. And the outfield arms have been fantastic. And also, we are excellent at turning double plays. That's why the numbers say we're still really good. This makes sense. Everything is probably strong, but the errors they make have come a lot more frequently than in our Super defense year and it's obviously going to be noticeable.

Metrics say it doesn't actually suck and it's top 3. I disagree but those are the numbers. Like our defense, the metrics must be broken.

Hey, so why does our defense suck? It's the same dudes as the 2016 season when we were super elite. Maybe rankings say we don't suck?
